It might only be June, but Disney is already thinking about the holidays!
Quite a bit of planning goes into creating the magic that surrounds the Disney parks around Christmastime — from festive holiday decor to special parades and exclusive holiday parties. And to celebrate being Halfway to the Holidays, Disney has released a whole bunch of exclusive treats in Disney World and Disneyland — and we’re giving one a try in this review!
We like to think we know a thing or two about corn dogs here at DFB. Miniature, hand-dipped, pickle-and-cheese-dust-crusted — you name it. We were in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District recently and stopped by Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs to check out the Christmas Dinner Corn Dog!
This is a turkey hot dog hand-dipped in batter, rolled in panko breadcrumbs, and served with a side of cranberry sauce for dipping. You can get it for $14.50.
This is a turkey dog rather than a typical beef hot dog and we actually enjoyed the turkey dog more than a beef corn dog! The batter with the panko crumbs was nice and crunchy and really tasty.
The cranberry dipping sauce was a sweet cranberry flavor but it was kind of hard to get a good dip because of the consistency (it was VERY thick). If we ordered this again, we wouldn’t even bother with the sauce because the actual corn dog was so tasty it didn’t need anything else!
If you like turkey dogs and cranberries, you might want to give this a try! Even if beef corn dogs are your preference, we still recommend trying the turkey dog. But if you don’t enjoy corn dogs or you want a light meal, you can probably skip this.
If you’re in the mood for a sweet treat after your Christmas Corn Dog, you might want to stop by California Churro in Downtown Disney for another Halfway to the Holidays treat, the Peppermint Churro! This is a SUPER minty churro, and it’s a great option for anyone who wants a peppermint treat before the holiday season.
Fair warning, though, these Halfway to the Holidays eats are only available for a limited time, so head on over to Downtown Disney between now and June 26th for the corn dog or through June 30th for the churro if you want to give them a try! Don’t forget to stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney food news and more.

If you’re getting ready to head to the parks on your summer vacation, keep in mind that temperatures are rising and it’s important to stay hydrated! We’ve got plenty of tips on how to beat the heat.
Make sure you’ve got your park pass reservations booked before heading out to the parks! Both Disney World and Disneyland are still using the Park Pass Reservation System to manage park capacity. Check out our realistic look at Disney World’s summer park pass availability here.
