Walt Disney World celebrates the 15th Anniversary of the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend presented by Corkcicle next year with new themes and empowering message. Next year’s marathon aims to celebrate Disney Princesses and the communities that hold them up. Athletes will run with not only their favorite princesses but also their fun companions!
Runners with memberships to Club runDisney will be able to register early on June 17 at 10 a.m. ET. General registration opens June 21 at 10 a.m. ET. Athletes who would like to participate but cannot make the trip to Walt Disney World can register for the virtual race on June 24.
Disney Princess 5K – Jasmine
Runners will be exploring outside the palace walls with rebellious Jasmine and her friends Aladdin, Abu, Carpet, and (of course) Raja. This is the shortest of the races at 3.1 miles and begins on February 24 at 5 a.m.
Disney Princess 10K – Belle
Unleash the beast with Belle and her companions Chip, Mrs. Potts, Lumiere, and Cogsworth as they run through the dangerous (but enchanting) forest. This race clocks in at about 6.2 miles and takes place on February 25 at 5 a.m.
Disney Princess 13.1 Miles – Moana
Make way, make way for Moana’s Half Marathon on February 26 at 5 a.m. with Maui, Hei Hei, Pua, and Gramma Tala’s guiding spirit.
Disney Princess 19.3 Miles – Cinderella
Cinderella’s flight down the castle steps comes as the biggest challenge yet! This full marathon will take place February 25-26 at 5 a.m. and feature her Fairy Godmother and rodent friends — Jacque, Suzy, Gus Gus, and Perla.
