D23 Expo is taking place this September in Anaheim, California and there is SO much to look forward to!
This expo is a giant fan event with fun panels, merch, and more. We usually see some Disney stars and get some REALLY big announcements during the presentations at the Expo. There are also some great entertainment options. And this year, there will be a special concert!
On Sunday, September 11th, Disney Concerts will present a special performance of Disney Princess — The Concert.
The concert will feature Susan Egan (Broadway’s original Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Meg in Disney’s animated feature Hercules), Isabelle McCalla (Princess Jasmine in Aladdin, The Prom), Disney Channel star Anneliese van der Pol (That’s So Raven, Raven’s Home, Broadway’s final Belle in Beauty and the Beast), and Syndee Winters (Broadway’s Nala in The Lion King, Hamilton).
Also joining the quartet will be music director Benjamin Rauhala (Fiddler on the Roof, The Secret Life of Bees) and Prince Adam J. Levy (Moulin Rouge).
The cast will perform some Disney Princess and Frozen favorites like “Part of Your World,” “Let It Go,” “A Whole New World,” “Colors of the Wind,” and “Almost There.” Then, the performers will share some exclusive behind-the-scenes stories from their time on the stage and screen! How exciting!!
The concert will take place at 4:15PM on Sunday, September 11th. Remember, D23 Expo is taking place in Anaheim, California. We just found out about the panels, which will include Marvel and Lucasfilm sneak peeks, as well as a Disney Parks update.
Ticket are available now, but many of them are sold out at the moment. But, don’t worry if you can’t attend the event — we’ll be at D23 Expo to give you ALL of the latest news, so stay tuned to DFB for more!
