They go above and beyond to keep the magic alive every single day. We’ve seen their hard work rewarded with things like Cast Member compliments, exclusive events, and even fun competitions! And we wanted to highlight Disney World’s amazing Cast Members by asking our readers to share their favorite Cast Member interactions at Disney World restaurants!

We took to our Facebook to ask our readers, “Which Disney World restaurants have you had the BEST Cast Member experiences at? (And tell us about them!)” Here’s what they said!

Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen

We heard you! The comments on this post were jam-packed with responses that included Skipper Canteen, with the main pull being the skipper jokes, of course. One reader said, “Our host took us on a wild goose chase around the entire restaurant telling traditional Jungle Cruise jokes.” Another reader shared that her daughter, who was dressed as Jessie from Toy Story, helped a skipper pick up menus off the ground, and the skipper then returned with a “shopping bag, as they had “gotten her a plush Bullseye to match her Jessie costume!”

One reader didn’t like their food, so the skipper “went to LIBERTY TREE TAVERN and got me some pasta!” Talk about going the extra mile — WOW.

50’s Prime Time Cafe

Our readers also felt strongly about the Cast Members at 50’s Prime Time Cafe! One reader said she has fun “retelling stories and remembering Auntie Agnes.” Another reader remembered when “Aunt Whitney” brought her 2 cupcakes and sang “You Are My Sunshine” for her and her husband’s 49th anniversary! Another reader shared how his server, Mark, built an amazing rapport with his autistic son, who had never felt “as included and accepted as he did that day.” SO sweet.

Others enjoyed the sillier interactions like being “asked if you washed your hands,” or being told that “if you didn’t eat your dinner, no dessert.”

Liberty Tree Tavern

A lot of our readers wanted to share how kind the Cast Members at Liberty Tree are! One reader ate at this location to celebrate the birthday of 2 members in their party, and “the waitress gave them both a birthday gift, which turned out to be beautiful ornaments from the Christmas shop.”

Another reader was given a FastPass (R.I.P. FastPasses) for “having to wait so long to be seated.”

Whispering Canyon Cafe

Our readers had some great experiences with Cast Members at Whispering Canyon! One reader told their server that they wouldn’t need dessert, because they’d be grabbing cupcakes after. When the waiter brought them the bill, he “handed us a box that had 4 big birthday cupcakes in it.”

Another reader had an amazing experience with a waitress named Mulan! A Disney princess? How cool!
