Who says adults can’t have fun at Disney?

That’s especially true in EPCOT, where there are multiple festivals happening at different times of the year (we’re gearing up for the Food & Wine Festival starting soon!) that bring in even more delicious food than what’s already being offered on a daily basis! And if you’re a fan of sipping on a cocktail while you wander around World Showcase, La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico pavilion has a drink you’ve got to check out!
Picture this; avocado in the form of a margarita. Bear with us, we promise the La Cava Avocado Margarita at La Cava del Tequila is a fan favorite! Here at DFB, we’re very much on board the Avocado Marg train.

Don’t let the $17 price tag scare you too bad, because this drink is actually quite filling thanks to the avocado! The margarita features Tromba Blanco Tequila, Melon Liqueur, fresh avocado lime juice, and a hibiscus salt rim. Unlike many other drinks, the tequila flavor in this drink is subtle and not too strong, and the avocado helps balance out the sweetness from the melon liqueur. The salt rim adds a bit of a kick because of the hibiscus, but this drink won’t leave you craving water or jacked up on a sugar rush.
And look at those colors!
Our reporter wasn’t a huge fan of the fact that the drink wasn’t blended to order and was instead poured from a batch already made, but it was still a great drink. If you’re a fan of avocado and don’t love super sweet drinks, we think this will be a good fit for you! But if you’re not a fan of more earth-toned flavors or want something more sugary, we suggest you pass this one by.
And if you’re on the fence — we recommend trying it! Some members of our team who weren’t convinced by the ingredients ended up loving the drink still.
