Is it just us, or does it seem like Disney World is constantly changing?
Of course, that’s not always a bad thing. For example, Disney World recently welcomed back the reimagined Finding Nemo show, the Mickey and Minnie meet and greet at Adventurers Outpost, and the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue. But the fun doesn’t stop there, as we’re about to see many more changes around the parks. So, to prepare you for what July holds, we compiled a list of all the things you need to know if you’re visiting Disney World in July!
2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival
The most wonderful time of the year is approaching (no, not the holiday season)! We’re talking about the 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, which begins on July 14th.
The festival is open to all guests (as long as you have a valid ticket and park reservation), with the option to purchase unique food and fun drinks from the festival booths. Aside from the booths, the festival also has an exciting concert series, as well as other activities — like cheese crawls!

Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360
If you were hoping to visit Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360, it will, unfortunately, be closed for the month of July. This area housed the Appleseed Orchard Booth at last year’s EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, and the booth is returning this year.
With that in mind, we don’t think the location will truly be “closed,” as it will most likely be used for the festival.

Return of Festival of the Lion King
When the shutdown ended, guests were given a different version of the Lion King show, called A Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King. Starting July 5th, however, the show will be closed to guests.
When the show reopens on July 16th, it will be the full, pre-pandemic version, and will be called Festival of the Lion King once again!

Harmony Barbershop
The Harmony Barber Shop is a full-service shop that will return on July 31st. This location offers beard trims, haircuts for both adults and children, and the popular “My First Haircut” experience, which is when a child receives their first haircut along with a commemorative pair of Mickey ears, an official milestone certificate, and a keepsake lock of hair.
This will be the first time the shop’s doors will open post-shutdown. So be sure to grab a haircut when the shop reopens!

Victoria & Albert’s Reopening
In other reopening news, guests can also look forward to the return of Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
The fine-dining restaurant will reopen on July 28th!

Characters Return to Star Wars Launch Bay
We’ve been awaiting the return of these galactic heroes (and foes), so we’re really excited to welcome them back to Hollywood Studios on July 17th!
Chewbacca, BB-8, and Darth Vader will be available to meet once again, and you can use Lightning Lanes via Genie+ to bypass the standby line.

Peter Pan and Snow White in Fantasyland
Get the kiddos ready for this one! Both Peter Pan and Snow White will return to Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom this month!
You can expect to meet them once again on July 10th.

Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long
This fun campfire experience is returning to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground on July 6th!
Here, guests can expect to roast marshmallows, sing songs, and meet Chip ‘n’ Dale! The experience as a whole is generally free, as long as you bring your own s’more supplies! But if you forget, you can purchase a kit while you’re there.

4th of July Weekend
There are tons of ways to celebrate the 4th of July while you’re in Disney World!
You can grab one of the special treats Disney has released for the holiday, or watch “Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky,” which will take place on July 3rd and July 4th at 9:20PM in Magic Kingdom.
