Disney World is on a ROLL this summer!
Just in the past few weeks alone, we’ve seen what seems to be an endless line of new snacks in the parks. With everything from Father’s Day treats to 4th of July specialties to menu overhauls, there has been a LOT to try. And now that the Flavors of Florida event has begun at Disney Springs, we’ve got even more new things to taste!
From now until August 14th, over 30 restaurants and shops around Disney Springs will have special offerings for this seasonal event, and we’re here to review several of them! For one of those treats, we’re heading to Amorette’s Patisserie, located right next door to the World of Disney store.
Here, they have the Blood Orange Éclair, which is an éclair filled with triple blood orange mousse, topped with tangy citrus jam and candied blood orange. You can pick one up for $7.
It’s never too early for dessert, right?

Sadly, our reporter wasn’t in love with this one. The filling barely had any citrus flavor, and there wasn’t a tangy kick to the jam. The pastry also became soggy pretty quick. Overall, it was very lackluster in our opinion, and too high of a price for what we received. Unfortunately, we were just left a big confused by the flavors and texture on this one. But like we say, your batch could be better!
We’re hoping the location will be redeemed by its other Flavors of Florida treat — the Blue Citrus Sauvignon Blanc Slushie. When we visited the location today, they were unable to offer it, but they shared that it would be available soon! We’ll check back for this treat to see if it hits the taste buds better than the Éclair.
In the meantime, if you’re heading to Disney Springs soon, there are plenty of places you can stop to grab some delicious eats. The cookies at Gideon’s Bakehouse are incredibly popular and the homestyle cooking at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is a great option for dinner with friends.
There are multiple celebrations to check out throughout the year at Disney Springs as well, with offerings for Women’s History Month, the holiday season, and many other special occasions. We’ll make sure to keep you updated on all the seasonal treats!
