Sometimes we have to wait a LONG time for new treats in Disney World, but we FINALLY have an update about one today.

Snow White and ice cream fans might remember the plans for the Seven Dwarfs Specialty Cones at Storybook Treats in Magic Kingdom, but so far we’ve only seen two Dwarf Cones (Grumpy and Doc), and it’s been over 6 (!!) MONTHS since we got a new one. But today’s the day! There’s a NEW Dwarf Cone in Disney World, and the star of this cone is none other than DOPEY!

Dopey fans are in luck because the Dopey Cone just debuted at Storybook Treats in Magic Kingdom, and this cone is all about DOLE Whip! It’s made with DOLE Whip Lime with Blueberry soft-serve, and it’s served in a lime green cone with a white chocolate belt buckle and a white chocolate Dopey decoration for $5.99.

So when it comes to taste, the DOLE Whip lime flavor is VERY strong and tart, in contrast with the blueberry soft-serve that was milder (but still delicious). We’ve noticed that Disney has been mixing DOLE Whip lime with other flavors in a few treats recently and typically the lime comes out as the dominant flavor.

Don’t get us wrong, we LOVE lime DOLE Whip (and fans of lime would be very happy with this treat!), but sometimes we want to taste the other flavors too. We wish there had been a ribbon of lime instead of a 50/50 split between the lime and the blueberry soft-serve.

We love the bright colors of blue and green, and the Dopey chocolate is super cute. This is definitely one of the more Instagrammable treats available in Disney World.

The Grumpy Cone debuted in November 2021 and it was later replaced by the Doc Cone in January 2022, so by our calculation, the Dopey Cone could be around for a while! Of course, Disney could always change up that pattern and release the next cone in a week, so don’t forget to follow along with us for more updates.
