Annual Passholders will also have the opportunity to pick up an Orange Bird Magnet in Disney Springs! The magnet will be available exclusively to Disney World Annual Passholders from July 5th through August 5th, from 10AM to 10PM at Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories.
Like the previous magnet release, a virtual queue will be utilized, so you won’t have to spend the day in line at Disney Springs. You must show your Annual Pass and a photo ID to be able to get a magnet!

Fuzzy Tauntaun is GONE
Not long ago, we shared that there may be some issues with the Fuzzy Tauntaun drink from Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and in Disneyland Park). It’s made with Cîroc Peach Vodka, Bols Peach Schnapps, Simply® Orange with Tangerine, Pure Cane Sugar, and “Buzz Button Tingling” Foam.
One of the ingredients in this drink (the one that makes your mouth go numb!) was experiencing some supply chain issues, and we were told that it could impact the future of the drink. And this week, it happened. Several Cast Members told us that the drink was no longer available in Disney World and that they weren’t sure if it was coming back. Ever. So at this point, the Fuzzy Tauntaun is no more, but we’ll be watching closely for more updates.

Flavors of Florida
The Flavors of Florida event was announced for Disney Springs! 44 different menu items will be available for a limited time at 30 different Disney Springs spots.
This event is presented by Corksicle and all the limited-time eats and drinks are inspired by Florida. Stop by Disney Springs between July 5th to August 14th to give them a try!

Changes to the Train Plans
Although there was a plan in place to have a high-speed train running from Orlando Airport to Disney World, things changed this week. Originally, the plans were to establish a route from the Orlando Airport to Disney Springs, but this was later changed to a less direct route.
This week a Disney spokesperson shared that the Walt Disney Company is no longer involved in this project. According to the spokesperson, the new route is not compatible with a Disney Springs station, and they will no longer move forward with Brightline.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Reopening Date
The popular makeover salon for kids received a reopening date this week! Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will reopen on August 25th, 2022. The salon has been closed since March 2020.
Kids ages 3 to 12 can be transformed into their favorite Disney characters with a variety of makeup, costumes, styling, and more, and the reopening will also introduce a new hair accessory meant for textured hair! Reservations will open in early August so stay tuned for an official date.

Annual Pass Glitch
Three of the four Disney World Annual Passes have been unavailable for purchase for a while now, but an Annual Pass glitch this week caused many people to head to Disney World’s website to try and purchase a pass.
For a brief time, the Incredi-Pass, the Sorcerer Pass, and the Pirate Pass became available for purchase. After a few minutes, however, they were no longer available, and they haven’t returned since. It’s likely that this was just a glitch, but we’re keeping an eye on Disney World’s website just in case. The Pixie Pass, available only to Florida residents, can still be purchased.

Splash Mountain Re-Theme News
And finally, we got some exciting updates about the Princess and the Frog Splash Mountain re-theme! The name of the ride will be changed to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and the ride is currently expected to open in late 2024.
Back in 2020, Disney announced that the ride would be getting a new theme, and they have since announced that the story of the ride will be set directly after the ending of Princess and the Frog. We’ll be watching closely for announcements about plans to close Splash Mountain for constructioN!
