Festival of Fantasy is a popular Disney World parade that finally returned to Magic Kingdom in 2022.
Since the parade’s return, we’ve seen Disney Princes re-join their Princesses and you could typically catch the parade twice a day in Magic Kingdom. But if you’re visiting Disney World this August, you may want to take a look at this showtime change.
Beginning in early August, the Festival of Fantasy Parade is getting reduced showtimes. Instead of two showtimes a day, there will be only one parade at 3PM on August 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th.
On August 3rd, 7th, 9th, and 11th, the performances stick to the twice-a-day schedule, showing at 12PM and 3PM.
Other than those four August dates, Festival of Fantasy still shows the usual 12PM and 3PM showtimes between July 25th and September 3rd. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for any future performance time changes, but for now, it looks like just those four August dates show reduced showtimes.
You can catch Festival of Fantasy along the parade route from Frontierland, through Liberty Square, and all the way down Main Street, U.S.A., and the floats include Disney Princesses, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, Ariel, Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, Maleficent in her dragon form, and lots more.
If you’re looking for other entertainment to catch in Magic Kingdom, you can typically see the 50th Anniversary Cavalcade several times a day…
…and the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade twice a day. Cavalcades are generally a bit shorter than full parades, but you can still see some of your favorite characters at either of these performances!
If you’re looking for a stage show, you can typically see Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire in front of Cinderella Castle several times a day.
Keep in mind that these showtimes are always subject to change (whether due to changes from Disney, weather, or something else), so it’s a good idea to keep checking the My Disney Experience app so that you aren’t disappointed during your visit.
If you have an early August Magic Kingdom visit planned, mark your calendar so that you don’t miss the Festival of Fantasy Parade during your trip. Keep following DFB for more Disney World news and updates!
