Welcome to another beautiful day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. It’s a hot day and it’s surprisingly busy for a Monday, but we’re ready to take on the day and see what’s new in the parks.
Parking and security moved quickly this morning, but you can see the large crowds are making their way into the parks. We’re heading towards Universal Studios Florida first.
The Williams of Hollywood Prop Shop has closed permanently. You can take a final look at the Prop Shop in our post here. The windows are covered and the signs at the entrance have been removed. We’re looking forward to seeing what takes over this location!
Inside the Tribute Store, there are even more newspaper clippings on the desk at the exit. As you walk through the projection room at the exit of the Tribute Store, the desk has some mysterious new clues for Halloween Horror Nights 31.
A small stage recently appeared in New York and now there are speakers on both sides.
A new collection of Spider-Man Loungefly bags are available at the Universal Studios Store. Take a look in our post here.
There are so many new Loungefly bags arriving at the park. Be sure to check out the new Hello Kitty Loungefly, too!
The parks aren’t too busy, but they will be this holiday weekend. We’re looking forward to celebrating 4th of July at Universal Studios Florida this year. Get more details on the celebration in our post here.
The patches along the exterior of Circus McGurkus do help hide some of the problems with the building, but we’re thinking this is going to need a lengthy refurbishment next. Caro-Seuss-el recently reopened after having the roof rebuilt and we’re still waiting on the Seuss Landing entrance arch to be replaced after reportedly falling apart last year. Seuss Landing has been in need of some attention lately.
Those shorts will dry out in no time in this heat. But where are the people?!
Shorts and hats all over the place in Jurassic Park! You could really put together a new outfit around here.
It’s a hot day, so Toon Lagoon is popular over at Islands of Adventure. Unfortunately, Ripsaw Falls was having some technical difficulties.
That’s all for this trip to the Universal Orlando Resort. Time to grab an ice cream and hit the road. We’ll be back again soon, so make sure you stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for more updates.
