MASSIVE changes are coming to Disney World.
The former ESPN Club
The TRON Coaster is under construction in Magic Kingdom, the Moana attraction is being built in EPCOT, and new Disney Vacation Club resort rooms are being constructed in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. But those aren’t the only spaces getting big changes. Disney’s BoardWalk is also undergoing a bit of a transformation with new restaurants on the way and more. And now we’ve got a HUGE update about what’s going on there!
A huge thank you to DFB Reader Andrea for alerting us to this! Over on Disney’s BoardWalk, you’ll now find that BoardWalk Bakery has CLOSED.

There were plants up all around the Bakery, blocking guest access to the area.

It’s Closed!
The sign indicated that, in the meantime, guests could stop by a variety of other spots on the BoardWalk for a snack. BoardWalk Pizza Window will be offering breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and more during breakfast time, and there will be pizzas and salads (as usual) during lunch/dinner.
You’ll also find some breakfast items at AbracadaBar, as well as lunch served from 11AM-2PM, and lounge offerings in the evening. Breakfast items are available at Belle Vue Lounge, as well as sandwiches, salads, and wraps. And you can head to their pop-up bar for drinks.
BoardWalk Area Offerings
BoardWalk Bakery’s transformation into BoardWalk Deli is something we’ve known about for a while, but it was a surprise to see BoardWalk Bakery suddenly close in this way!
BoardWalk Deli will be a deli inspired by the ones you’ll find in the American Northeast.

On the menu, you’ll find things like house-baked bagels, a warm pastrami Reuben, and even hand-piped cannolis.

BoardWalk Deli is set to open in the late summer of 2022, but no exact opening date has been announced yet.
