Things are always changing in Disney World but one land is getting some BIG changes soon!
Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story Land!
In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, construction is underway in Toy Story Land, where a new shop and a new restaurant are expected to open sometime in 2022. We recently went over everything we know about these projects, and now we have an update!
In early 2022, Disney announced that a new gift shop called Jessie’s Trading Post would be opening in Hollywood Studios. At that point, there was a gift shop located at the exit queue of the Toy Story Mania ride, but it wasn’t heavily themed.

This was the previous gift shop location in Toy Story Mania, which has been closed and blocked off for some time now (with the exit queue for the ride diverted as well). Recently we noticed new lighting and some painting done in the area and Disney also filed a permit for “install[ing] set elements” at the Toy Story Mania address.

Now Disney just added a big update — there’s a FULL Jessie’s Trading Post mural covering the walls! This mural displays our favorite cowgirl Jessie with some happy animals in a Western setting.

Jessie is holding a rope and the mural says “22 pcs included, giddy up, gallop in, let the tradin’ begin!”
So cute!
The mural also wraps around the wall and extends to the doorway, which now says “Welcome” above it.
Yay!
Disney has not yet released an official opening date for Jessie’s Trading Post but we’re keeping our eyes on Toy Story Land for any updates! Keep reading DFB for more Disney World news!
