During our trip to Disneyland Paris this month for Annual Passholder previews of Avengers Campus, we also got to see Pirates of the Caribbean with the work lights on. We snapped some photos and videos of the ride’s detailed scenery that is usually barely lit.
Like Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland, a restaurant overlooks a section of the ride at Disneyland Paris. This is where we got to see the lights on.
This area has a shipwreck and tropical plants.
The tracks were clearly visible underwater.
Boats were still running through the ride.
The restaurant’s dining area is separated from the ride with rope nets.
We could also clearly see the black ceiling and walls.
Dark ride walls and ceilings are painted black so they aren’t obvious to the naked eye.
We could see beams across the high ceiling.
There are also giant tube vents in the ceiling.
Watch some of our videos of the space with lights on below.
