We took a stroll down to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn Café at Magic Kingdom to try the 50th anniversary Walking taco.
The Walking Taco – $10.99
Seasoned Ground Beef, Yellow Rice, Black Beans, Cheddar, Jalapeño, Tomato, Sour Cream, and Corn Chips served in a Bag
The Walking taco is a great concept for the parks. You can hold it in one hand while pointing out fun things with the other. It comes with all the ingredients ready to be mixed in, so you can personalize it as well! A great option for the picky eaters in your family.
The back comes with instructions too!
The bag is served warm but not too hot to handle. We decided to mix everything by shaking the bag, but we ended up having to stir it. You can get a bit of everything in each bite. Chips, taco meat, rice, lettuce, etc. And we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the portion! It will fill you up!
The meat is the standard Pecos Bill ground beef. And while it’s not exactly gourmet, it is the perfect park food for a family on the go. It’s easy to eat and perfect comfort food. It’s also much better than that sad excuse for chicken tender nachos we had at the Golden Oak Outpost.
The chips stayed crunchy, and the bag kept everything toasty even while we took photos. We could definitely see rolling up and ordering these for a quick meal on the go on the way to our next ride. We love the concept and hope it sticks around after the 50th anniversary ends.
