*NEW* Feijoda: Black Beans with Crispy Pork Belly, Brazil Nut Pesto and Ben’s Original™ Long Grain White Rice – $6.25

This dish is new to the festival, and it seems they still have some tweaking to do if it’s going to stay on the menu. We found the pork belly really difficult to cut, and it didn’t appear to be cooked very well. The real standout part of this dish was the supporting flavors that came from the rice and beans. Pass on this for now.

Pão de Queijo: Brazilian Cheese Bread – $4.75

It’s incredibly difficult to recommend these at over $2 each for a piece of cheese bread, even if they are pretty spectacular. You can find a bag of Brazi-Bites in your local grocer for a fraction of the cost if you want to indulge in cheese paradise.

*NEW* Xingu Brazilian Black Lager (4.6% ABV) – $5.00 for 6 oz., $9.00 for 12 oz.

From Total Beverage Solution: “Pouring a deep, dark black, Xingu Black has aromatic notes of sweet fruits, peach and plums warming to darker fruit notes with a charred undertone. The taste is that of peach, apricot and roasted malts.”

Frozen Caipirinha with Cachaça- $11.00

Epcot Food & Wine 2018 Brazil Caipirinha

A decent portion for the price that tastes like an alcoholic lemonade with just a bit more tartness than expected. It’s Brazil’s national drink, so they must be doing something right because it’s rather refreshing and enjoyable.

Location of the Brazil Marketplace at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival

The Brazil Marketplace can be found on World Showcase Promenade, nestled between the France and Morocco Pavilions. You can find it at number 26 on the map below.

If the Feijoda piqued your interest, make sure to head out to EPCOT anytime from July 14 to November 19, 2022 to try it!
