You never know what’s gonna happen at Disney World, and we’ve come to expect the unexpected!

From ride closures, to crowds, to wait times, to weather, you should be prepared for whatever might come your way in Disney World! Sometimes, your favorite ride closes unexpectedly, and you can’t do anything about it. This Hollywood Studios ride has seen a lot of closures lately, and we got some more details!
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster was down again in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This has been a pretty regular occurrence this year, with several big closures in January and April. There was no estimate for how long the ride would be closed today, and one of the Cast Members gave us some insight as to why the ride has been down so much.

The ride had already shut down twice this morning before we talked to the Cast Member about the closure, and they said that there could be another closure at any time. The Cast Member also told us that the ride hasn’t gotten a full refurbishment since reopening, which explains why the ride has needed to close so many times.

Currently, the ride is back up and running, but this is a ride you’ll want to keep an eye on when you’re visiting Hollywood Studios! Be sure to check the My Disney Experience app to see when the ride goes down or to check on the wait times when the ride is running.
We’re sad to see such a great ride down, but at lease we know why it’s happening, and hopefully RNRC gets some TLC soon.
