Something you’ve gotta accept about Disney World is that there are gonna be lines!
Whether it’s for rides, food, or meet and greets, lines are just a part of the Disney World experience. We’ve been pleasantly surprised with how low wait times at the parks have been, especially since it’s the middle of the summer. This iconic Disney Duo just met up in Magic Kingdom for the first time in a long time, and you would not believe how long the wait got!
Mickey and Minnie Mouse officially together at Town Square Theater on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom. This is the first time the duo have been meeting together in both of their special 50th Anniversary outfits, and since character meet and greets are back to normal, you can hug them too!
The only downside? The wait to see them has been LONG. We’re talking over 100 minutes long. When we were in the parks this morning, the wait to see Mickey and Minnie was the longest one in the whole park! If you wanted to see Mickey and Minnie in Magic Kingdom this morning, then you would have waited 110 minutes!Â
That’s a super long line, especially for something that isn’t a ride. To compare, at the same time that Mickey and Minnie’s wait was 110 minutes, the Princess Fairytale Hall meet and greet had a 30 minute wait, and the Haunted Mansion only had a 40 minute wait.Â
Even by 2PM EST, the wait for the Mickey and Minnie meet and greet was at 85 minutes.
We’re so happy to see Mickey and Minnie reunited in Magic Kingdom, but that wait time is no joke!
If you want your best shot at avoiding long lines in Disney World, then you should read up on Disney’s Genie+ service. Genie+ is Disney’s new line-skipping service, and we have all of the tips and tricks you need to become a Genie pro!
Want to see more characters? Several other character meet and greets are returning to the parks soon including Peter Pan, Snow White, Star Wars characters, a free Chip & Dale resort show, and more! You’ll also soon be able to dine with characters again at Crystal Palace, ‘Ohana, and Cape May Cafe. Plus, check out Mirabel in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade in Magic Kingdom!
