Some massive CHANGES are coming to Disney World.

Construction is going on in EPCOT for the Moana attraction, the TRON coaster is being tested in Magic Kingdom, and a new restaurant is coming to Toy Story Land. But now one piece of Disney World’s endless construction has finished and a NEW store is open in Toy Story Land!

We’ve been watching the construction on the gift shop at the exit to Toy Story Mania in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a long time now. The store had been closed for quite some time and we then heard that a new store would be appearing in Toy Story Land.

Recently we spotted some new murals near the store which featured the “Jessie’s Trading Post” logo, confirming that this new store would be located where the old gift shop once was.

And now Jessie’s Trading Post is OPEN!

According to the backstory, “Andy discovered Jessie’s Trading Post playset tucked away in the attic, and is bringing it downstairs to set up shop—full of the coolest toys and finest souvenirs handpicked by the rootinest, tootinest cowgirl.”

Throughout the store, you’ll find all kinds of nods to the Toy Story franchise and characters, as well as LOTS of Toy Story merchandise!

Be sure to look UP when you’re here because there are all kinds of details on the ceiling.

In one area, you’ll see some images of Jessie and details about her being the yodeling cowgirl!

There are also parts of the store that showcase “Trailblazin’ Tack” alongside merchandise of Buzz Lightyear, especially lots of items themed to the new Lightyear movie.

According to Cast Members we spoke to, the biggest change here is that the store has been rethemed (obviously!) and that each section is now dedicated to a specific character.

According to a Cast Member, one of the newest items you’ll find here is the “Snake in my Boot” plant, along with some of the Lightyear merchandise (which we’ve already seen elsewhere in the parks).

In another part of the store, you’ll see some green aliens in the ceiling…

…with lots of toys and other items underneath.

Keep an eye out for that Critter Chow — you’ll need something to feed those critters! You’ll also find some cacti and signs throughout, themed to the characters from the film.

Whether you’re more of a space ranger or a person seeking adventure out in the wild west, there’s a lot to pick from!

Even Zurg gets his own little sign, above toys themed to him, of course. Plus, you’ll find pins and more.

In one portion of the store, you’ll find images of Bullseye on the ceiling, along with a cash register below the sign that says “In Hamm We Trust.”

If you’re a Toy Story fan, we think you could probably spend quite a bit of time here just admiring all the details! Looks like one of the critters has won “employee of the month” and is that an upside-down hidden Mickey we spot?!

As you exit the Toy Story Mania ride now, things look like they’re basically back to normal.

You’ll pass by artwork of Woody…

…and more from the traditional exit path.

Be sure to look for all those toys as you walk through!

Keep in mind that some construction is still going on in Toy Story Land, so you will pass some construction scrim that is still up for those projects.

Considering the fact that there aren’t many other shopping opportunities in Toy Story Land, we have a feeling fans will be glad to have this store open once again and rethemed to be Jessie’s Trading Post!
