Jambo, everyone!
Here at DFB, we go to the Disney World theme parks almost every day so we can let you know what’s new when it comes to construction, merchandise, and of course FOOD! Today, we’re heading to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to bring you all the updates.
Animal Kingdom Food Updates
Zuri’s Sweets Shop
Over at Zuri’s Sweets Shop, we saw not one but TWO new Orange Bird-themed treats: the Orange Bird Candy Apple…
…and the Orange Bird Mickey Mouse Cookie!
Look, we like Orange Bird as much as the next person, but this cookie is a little off-putting. You can grab the cookie for $5.49 and the candy apple for $10.99.

Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Riverside Depot
Up first, we visited Riverside Depot, where we spotted a restock of this Lady and the Tramp mug that features Lady on one side…
…and Tramp on the other side! They’re sharing a long strand of spaghetti, like the iconic scene from the movie. You can grab this mug for $19.99.
We also saw some new limited-edition pins. We saw the 2022 4th of July pin for $17.99 and this Mickey balloon on Main Street pin for $19.99.
Looking for a new cup for your morning coffee? We saw this Pilot Mickey Tumbler that shows Mickey and Minnie with Mickey as a pilot! This tumbler is $24.99.
We also saw some new bags, like this Mickey and Minnie Tote that shows the pair kissing in front of a rainbow. It is $39.99.
And we saw this blue Mickey Cinch Sack, which is a backpack that, instead of having zippers, you pull the straps to close and it cinches up at the top. It shows Mickey in multiple poses, including one where he’s eating a popsicle! You can grab it for $24.99.
There was also this Mickey and Minnie 4th of July ornament, which we have already seen in Disneyland. It’s Mickey and Minnie standing in front of Cinderella Castle, which is decked out in red, white, and blue. You can grab it for $24.99.
There was also this set of Main Street Electrical Parade magnets, which has magnets of floats from the parade as well as the parade’s logo.
The magnet set is $24.99.
Island Mercantile
Speaking of the Main Street Electrical Parade, we saw the Main Street Electrical Parade Dooney & Bourke Collection at Island Mercantile, along with the new Main Street Electrical Parade Button-Up Shirt. The shirt is dark blue with colorful buttons, and in the pattern, you’ll notice floats from the parade. This shirt is $59.99.
We also saw several new items relating to the Disney Conservation Fund. First, we saw this conservation coin on display that is available for purchase.
There was also a display at the registers that said if you donated $25 to the Disney Conservation Fund, you would receive one complimentary copy of The Disney Conservation Fund: Carrying Forward a Conservation Legacy.
And because it seems like the Main Street Electrical Parade merchandise is just never-ending, we also saw this Main Street Electrical Parade shirt!
One half is black with scenes from the parade, and the other side is blue with the parade logo! This shirt is $36.99.
Discovery Trading Company
At Discovery Trading Company, we spotted multiple types of bags all with the same print. We saw this Fanny Pack for $29.99…
…the tote for $34.99…
…and the cinch sack backpack for $24.99.
We also saw this Danielle Nicole x Disney Parks hat, which reminds us a lot of the Disney+ series Moon Knight. It’s a white hat with a moon and some stars connected by a chain. It is $29.99.
This is also where we spotted a bunch of pins! We saw this pin of Mickey holding a camera for $9.99.
And we saw another pin in the same style as the Mickey pin that is Minnie with some shopping bags! It’s also $9.99.
We also found some pins for a popular Disney World ride, just not one located in Animal Kingdom. We saw three Tower of Terror pins: this one with Mickey and Minnie dancing for $12.99…
…this one with Minnie sitting on an old-timey looking couch for $9.99…
…and this one with Pluto for $9.99.
We also saw some ears that we’ve seen elsewhere around Disney World. First were these 50th Anniversary Light-Up Balloon Ears, which are $32.86. We’ve seen these that the Emporium in Magic Kingdom, but they’re also available here!
Speaking of ears we’ve seen before, Discovery Trading Company also has these Pirate Ears that we also saw in the Emporium in Magic Kingdom. Because they are Loungefly ears, they are a little pricer at $39.99 each.
And finally for Discovery Trading Company, we saw two 4th of July plushes, a Mickey one…
…and a Minnie one!
We’ve seen these guys both online and in the parks, and they are each available for $24.99.
The Dino Institute Shop
Over at the Dino Institute, we saw some new shirts! We saw this yellow kids’ shirt that has a Triceratops on it and says “I’m kind of a big deal.”
We also saw this orange kids’ shirt that has a Brachiosaurus on it that also says “I’m kind of a big deal.”
This kids’ shirt has a T-Rex skeleton on it and says “Like a boss.”
And we saw another shirt for kids who love dinos, too! Each kids’ shirt was $19.99.
There was also this onesie that, like the kids’ shirt of the same design, has a Triceratops and says “I’m kind of a big deal.” The onesie is also $19.99.
The adults weren’t left out of the new shirts either! We spotted this new adult shirt that has three Raptors on it.
The adult shirt is $24.99.
Windtraders
And finally, we come to Windtraders in Pandora. We saw a few new items here, including two new magnets! We saw this magnet that looks like a banshee from Flight of Passage. It is $9.99.
We also saw this magnet that has Na’vi River Journey on it. It is also $9.99.
There’s also this holographic postcard for $3.49 that shows Pandora at nighttime.
And in celebration of the fifth anniversary of Pandora — The World of Avatar in Animal Kingdom, we saw the limited edition anniversary MagicBand! It is $39.99.
And finally, we saw this banshee ornament that even lights up!
It is $26.99.
