It’s time for us to stroll down Main Street, U.S.A., and see what’s going on in Magic Kingdom.
We’ve seen the summer crowds pick up, leaving meet-and-greet wait times as high as 110 minutes! But it’s not all bad, as the summer season has also brought a huge amount of merchandise, as well as some new menu additions. So, let’s take a trip to Magic Kingdom to see what’s new!
Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
You won’t have to walk too far into Magic Kingdom to find a new snack! Over at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, we found the new Main Street Float for $7.99. It’s a new 50th Anniversary snack that is a rootbeer float with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and caramel popcorn.
It’s basically just your regular rootbeer float…plus some extra toppings.

The Friar’s Nook
Fans of Mr. Toad’s Dome Cake may be sad about this one. The Devil’s Chocolate Mousse Cake has replaced Mr. Toad’s Dome Cake on the menu.
The new mousse cake is crumbled devil’s food cake, chocolate mousse pudding mix, milk chocolate whipped cream, and chocolate pearls. It’s all topped with a white chocolate decal that has a devil on it!
The cake is $7.99, and had a rich flavor and light texture.

Storybook Treats
Over here, you can find the new Dopey Cone! It’s DOLE Whip Lime with Blueberry soft-serve, and it’s served in a lime green cone with a white chocolate belt buckle and a white chocolate Dopey decoration for $5.99.
We tried it, and the DOLE Whip lime flavor is VERY strong and tart, in contrast with the blueberry soft-serve that was milder (but still delicious). Overall, fans of lime will love this one!

Magic Kingdom Construction
TRON Lightcycle Run construction continues, while we patiently wait for an opening date.
We also saw an area of Main Street, U.S.A. roped off, and then opened back up to guests. However, it still looks like this patch of pavement needs some…help.
And staying over in Main Street, U.S.A., this area of seating was blocked off by some shrubs. We’ll update you when this area opens back up to guests!
And those are all of our construction updates!
