“Traditional” character meet-and-greets have returned to Disney World, meaning you can once again hug your favorite Disney pals!
If you love meeting the Disney characters then you’ll be thrilled to know that even more characters will be returning for meet-and-greets to the parks including Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and some princesses! We already got the chance to meet Aladdin and Jasmine in Magic Kingdom, but now ANOTHER iconic Disney character is back greeting guests one-on-one in the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Peter Pan is meeting guests in Magic Kingdom again! We’ve had some fun character interactions with Peter in the past, and we’re so happy he’s back meeting guests in Magic Kingdom. While he’s scheduled to meet at various times throughout the day next to Sunshine Tree Terrace…
…we first spotted him in a totally different spot! We initially found him roaming (a.k.a. RUNNING) around Fantasyland with a couple of guests.
And when we say “running,” we mean it LITERALLY. We could barely keep up with him.
After his run, he stopped to speak with more guests near the Castle.
So while you may have expected to see him in Adventureland or perhaps over by Peter Pan’s Flight, it seems this character might be a bit more difficult to find!
He didn’t show up for his 12:10 PM appearance, but his meet and greet location is an uncovered spot and it was raining. That meet-and-greet may have also been complicated by the timing of the Festival of Fantasy parade, which also features Peter Pan.
Later in the afternoon, we spotted Peter Pan over in Adventureland, next to Bwana Bob’s, across from the Sunshine Tree Terrace. At that point, his meet-and-greet was a little less run-intensive! Instead, a line had formed to meet Peter…
…and he was spending time with guests (no running needed).
Because his meet-and-greet spot is outdoors, it does mean it is subject to the weather. That’s one of the reasons why he is a somewhat elusive character to find here.
So if you’re trying to find Peter Pan in Magic Kingdom, be sure to check the My Disney Experience app for updates, but also keep your eyes open!
You may find him running around Fantasyland, over by the Castle, or in Adventureland, depending on the day, time, and weather.
Once you do find him, you’ll likely get to hear some of his stories about his adventures…
…or hear him make other funny comments!
