If you go to Disney World expecting everything to be exactly the same as it was during your last trip, you’ll be sorely unprepared.
Things at Disney World change constantly! We’ve seen changes made to fireworks show times, character meet-and-greet areas, purchasing limits, restaurant menus, and SO much more. Soon, more changes will be impacting Disney World, specifically over at Magic Kingdom.
Showtimes for fireworks, stage shows, parades, and more can change often in Disney World. If seeing one of those iconic forms of entertainment is important to you, then staying up to date on the latest changes can help you make sure you don’t miss a second of the action.
Recently, we noticed that some changes are going to be made to the Magic Kingdom stage show — Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire!
This updated stage show features Mickey and friends interacting, dancing, and more. You’ll see characters from The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, and even Frozen during this experience.
But if you’re going in expecting to see this show at the same times it’s being offered right now, you’ll end up being disappointed!
We previously shared that the showtimes for Friendship Faire were changing to 12:50PM, 2PM, 4PM, 5:35PM, and 7PM. And, in fact, those are the showtimes offered for today (August 2nd) through August 6th.
On August 7th, however, those showtimes change a bit. From August 7th through August 8th, the showtimes switch to 11:10AM, 12:50PM, 2PM, 3:55PM, and 5:50 PM.
On August 9th and 10th, we go back to the 12:50PM, 2PM, 4PM, 5:35PM, and 7PM showtimes.
Then on August 11th, showtimes change again to 11:10AM, 12:50PM, 2PM, 3:55PM, and 5:50 PM. Talk about some whiplash!
But wait, there’s one MORE change we need to talk about. Starting August 12th, it seems the stage show goes into its more permanent schedule for the time being. Starting that day, the showtimes are 10:10AM, 11:25AM, 12:50PM, 2:05PM, and 4:00 PM.
Those showtimes seem to continue throughout the remainder of August and into September (September 3rd is as far as we could check).
So what’s the moral of the story here? Showtimes can change…a LOT. If you’re heading to Disney World soon and seeing the fireworks, a parade, or a particular show is important to you, make sure you check those showtimes on the Disney World website or My Disney Experience app ahead of your trip. And remember that sometimes changes can be made during your trip, so keep checking each day you’re on vacation to stay up to date on all the latest.
