Disney World has welcomed some major changes recently, and Disney wants to know what you think about them!
Just this year, the resort has launched MagicBand+, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, traditional character meet-and-greets, and more! Naturally, guests (including ourselves) have many thoughts about these changes. And it looks like Disney wants to know what we’re thinking, based on a new guest experience survey.
Disney often checks in with guests, via surveys, to determine what’s important to visitors. This helps them plan on what changes to implement next, as well as what services should be prioritized in the future. With these surveys, they can assess what services and experiences guests want to see, to keep visitors coming back!
And Disney’s newest EPCOT-centered survey focuses primarily on MagicBand+ and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The first question asked about the queue preference we have for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. If we chose “traditional standby,” the survey implied we could expect to see 2+ hour lines outdoors. If we chose “virtual queue,” it advised that we would have to join a “boarding group” in the My Disney Experience App with the understanding that we may not secure a spot, or choose a specific time.
The survey asked if we would still ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind if Lightning Lane access was fully booked or unavailable.
We were also asked how our experience in line was for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. We were able to report ride operations stopping, and what we chose to do if that occurred.
We were asked if we rode Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind more than once during our visit.
Disney also asked us to provide our experience with Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, with the ability to identify if there were any issues while on the ride.
And onto services — were asked if we used MagicBand, MagicBand+, or MagicMobile during our visit to EPCOT.
Then, we were asked if we were aware of MagicBand+ prior to the survey. (Of course, we were!)
We were also given a description of MagicBand+ and asked how likely it was that we would purchase MagicBand+ in the future.
And those were all of the EPCOT questions we got in this survey! We’re interested to see what plans they have regarding the queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
