Greetings from another exciting day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. Universal Studios Florida is quickly transforming for Halloween Horror Nights and we’re excited to see what’s new. Let’s get going and check out what’s happening today!
We’re looking forward to walking under this arch and into the fog for Halloween Horror Nights 31.
Tons of new scare zone props have been set up around the park. The Nettlewoods Cemetery in Hollywood has gotten a little overgrown with branches and moss. Large trees and plants have also been added through the area as well as speakers. It’s really starting to look good around here.
Major Sweets has arrived! This large truck is now parked by the Judges Booth for the Halloween festival themed scare zone. We’re really excited for this one and can’t wait for more details!
Last year’s scare zone in San Francisco was a little disappointing, but this year’s set up looks like it has a lot of potential. The stage has grown and there are many more details now.
Equipment has arrived for the food booth next to Cafe la Bamba. This Dia de los Muertos booth has gotten more details and looks absolutely stunning. It’s really eye-catching and we have a feeling it will look even better after dark!
The food booths are really looking great. Even though we don’t have menus at the time of writing this, we love seeing all the themed booths.
You can tell that kids went back to school today! These crowds aren’t too bad over at Islands of Adventure.
You can find these Universal exclusive Reebok X Jurassic World shoes inside Jurassic Outfitters. Take a closer look at these new shoes in our post here.
This sign has been sold out for a while, but they’ve been restocked! There are just too many awesome signs to choose from. Take a look at all of the different signs in our post here.
Construction walls are up in Toon Lagoon as refurbishment continues. We’ve been seeing this area getting some much needed attention lately. Toon Extra is still open, despite the construction walls on the outside.
The freshly painted colors on the ground really pop. This area is so colorful and these bright colors look awesome.
The Tub Toss game in Toon Lagoon has been replaced with a balloon popping game. This game is much easier to win than the Tub Toss, in our opinion.
These new magnets are awesome. We didn’t see either of these designs on the U Design kiosks, but you can find these inside the Islands of Adventure Trading Company.
The Shrek 4-D plaque is missing from the Legacy Store! We hope it returns.
Spooky season is almost here and we can’t wait. Thanks for following along with us around the parks today. We’ll be back soon, so stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for all the latest updates!
