It’s World Princess Week and Walt Disney World guests can celebrate with princess-themed desserts all over. At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, a Cinderella Cupcake has returned to Contempo Café.
Cinderella Cupcake – $5.99
Vanilla cupcake filled with vanilla crème custard and topped with buttercream, white chocolate slipper, and fondant pumpkin
While we always hate to slice through a cupcake this pretty, we also really love eating — so here we go.
We’ll start with the bad: like all fondant, the fondant pumpkin is unpleasant and tastes like Play-Doh.
The white chocolate glass slipper makes up for the pumpkin, though. It’s sweet and we loved it.
In 2020, this cupcake had a pumpkin custard center, but now it has vanilla custard. It’s not as unique and themed, but still nice.
The yellow cake is super moist and the blue buttercream isn’t too sweet. Plus, it’s fresh and doesn’t overload the cupcake.
We would return for this cupcake during World Princess Week. And because it’s so large, you can definitely share it or save some for later.
