Disney’s Hollywood Studios is joining the World Princess Week celebrations with the return of the Enchanted Rose to Catalina Eddie’s.
Enchanted Rose Mousse – $5.79
Dark Chocolate Mousse with a taste of Blackcurrant and Morello Cherry-Chocolate shortbread cookie, Whipped Cookies ‘n Cream Fluff, and gilded Chocolate-covered Cocoa Nibs
This heavy treat has a tart, cherry-forward flavor. It tastes like a chocolate-covered cherry.
The aftertaste, on the other hand, is chocolate.
The gold nuggets (cocoa nibs) on top add zero taste.
The grey stuff on the side is icing. It’s okay but not delicious.
The mousse sits atop a shortbread cookie that adds some much-needed texture. This cuts through some of the sweetness of the mousse, too.
While this is gorgeous for photos, we wouldn’t get it again. We do recommend it for people who like cherries, specifically chocolate-covered cherries.
The only other treat advertised for World Princess Week at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the Seaside Brownie from Dockside Diner, which is actually a regular menu item.
