There’s a new way to cool off on Disney’s BoardWalk… or actually an old way, thanks to new vintage beverages at BoardWalk Ice Cream!
Three classic beverages that evoke old-fashioned diners have taken their place on the menu.
Let’s get sipping and see how they are!
Cherry Limeade – $4.99
Amarena Cherry, Cold-Pressed Lime Juice, Sparkling Water
The cherry is a little strong, tasting more on the grenadine side.
It’s also garnished with a maraschino cherry.
The lime comes in just underneath the cherry.
It’s more of a tart drink, but the bubbles compliment that. This is super refreshing and enjoyable.
Tropical Orange Seltzer – $4.99
Orange and Pineapple Juices, Sparkling Water
This one is very straightforward. It’s just orange juice and pineapple with sparkling water.
The pineapple and orange are great juices to pair together. You get both evenly in every sip, while the bubbles are nice and refreshing.
This one is garnished with a mint leaf to offset the sweetness.
It’s super simple, but because it’s so simple, it’s a more enjoyable drink.
Egg Cream – $5.29
Chocolate Flavor, Milk, Sparkling Water
This one is also very straightforward and uncomplicated.
The chocolate isn’t overpowering and comes off nice and sweet and slightly rich. You don’t even taste the milk.
We thought this might be a little much, but we really enjoyed this. It’s a nice alternative to a milkshake if you don’t want something that heavy.
All of these drinks are incredibly simple, but that’s what makes them enjoyable. You get the flavors as described, and they taste fresh, like sparkling juices. We enjoyed all of these. They’re a refreshing and light beverage on a hot day when you want to pass on the ice cream.
