Boo to you (and you, and you, and you)…Happy Halloween!
The night we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has officially returned for the first time since 2019! We’re bringing you all the juicy details from a look at the event-specific merchandise to the trick-or-treating situation, and, most importantly, the food. We’re trying ALL of the spooky snacks and treats at the party and now, we’re here to bring you our thoughts on another one!
Lots of new and unique treats will be available at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but there are a couple that have been around for a while now. One of those ol’ standby treats is the Chilling Chamber Pop. The Chilling Chamber Pop is chocolate crumbs, cherry buttercream, and dark chocolate pearls topped with Tightrope Walker chocolate pieces. It is themed after The Haunted Mansion and the Tightrope Walker chocolate piece looks like the similar painting that hangs in the Stretching Room on the ride.
We’ve seen several iterations of this pop with different designs on the chocolate pieces and different flavor combinations, too. This treat was first introduced at the beginning of this year and a new version of it came out in April as part of Disney’s Halfway to Halloween celebration, and now it’s available at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
This treat is really fun and cool looking…and that’s kind of the only thing it has going for it. This treat is very heavy with artificial cherry flavor, so unless you’re a cherry fan, you might not like this one. It also has an interesting texture because the dark chocolate pearls are interspersed throughout the whole thing, not just on top. This treat gets bonus points for being so spooky looking, with The Haunted Mansion wallpaper design and the Tightrope Walker chocolate piece, but we think that there are better snacks to try at the party this year, like the Worms and Dirt Funnel Cake, also found at Sleepy Hollow.
If you like cherry and would like to try the Chilling Chamber Pop, you can grab it for $5.49 at Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square. This treat is not exclusive to the party and is available throughout the day, as well.
Looking for other treats to try during the event? We’re having them all, so make sure to keep checking back with us for our full thoughts. Aside from eating, there are lots of other things to do during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! There are lots of unique photo opportunities, characters to meet, fireworks, a parade, and more.
We’ll be bringing you all of the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party news, so make sure to stay tuned to DFB for the latest!
