That’s it. We’re done. Disney has won Halloween forever.

Oogie Boogie Bash has officially begun in Disney California Adventure Park, and we’ve been bringing you along with us for ALL of the festivities from the first event night. The anticipation has been building, with the event selling out frighteningly fast and Disney teasing guests with new villains. But we’re not here to talk about the villains, entertainment, or treats. No — we’re here to talk about someone we’re not supposed to talk about.

You know exactly who we’re referring to right? Sing it with us…”We don’t talk about…BRUNO!” Yes, we’re talking about Bruno from Encanto! No, this is not a joke or a drill — you can meet BRUNO, THE BRUNO, at Oogie Boogie Bash in Disney California Adventure.

You’ll find him over near Grizzly River Run. Be sure to get in line early because there were LOTS of people excited to see him and the line was pretty substantial. We inched closer and closer to Bruno until we finally got the chance to meet him, so just be sure to pack your patience and the Encanto soundtrack to listen to while you wait!

This is the first time Bruno has appeared in the resort, and we thought it was such a fun way for him to make his debut!

According to Bruno, he was a little nervous to join the party, but after hearing all of the good things that Mirabel had to say about California Adventure, he just HAD to join in on the fun!

The backdrop at his meet-and-greet features an hourglass as well as some images on the walls, and pieces of pottery in the sand on the floor.

Listen closely to the area around him and you may even hear rats squeaking — seriously, the details here are incredible!

Our reporter shared that this was one of the BEST character interactions they’ve ever experienced in the parks.

We hope to see Bruno, as well as the rest of the Family Madrigal, around much more. Right now, you can spot Mirabel at the Disney Adventure Friends cavalcade in Disney World and she has also met guests at Disneyland in the past.
