Target already held its first set of Deal Days earlier in 2022, but you can never have too much of a good thing, right?! Just like how Amazon held Prime Day earlier this year and will be bringing it back with a new Prime Day-like event this fall. Target has decided to bring back its Deal Days promotion during the fall of 2022!

Target has announced that Deal Days will be coming BACK this fall from October 6th through October 8th.

©Target

During Deal Days you’ll be able to snatch up tons of items on sale. In fact, you’ll find savings on hundreds of thousands of items online and in Target stores. No membership is required, and Target notes that there is a Holiday Price Match Guarantee. If you buy something during Target Deal Days (or actually any time between October 6th and December 24th) you’ll qualify for a price adjustment if the Target price for that item gets any lower on or before December 24th (with some exceptions).

You can shop for items in-store, get things delivered to your door, or even grab items to be picked up in the store.

©Target

You can save even more if you join Target Circle (Target’s free rewards program) and you could get an extra 5% off purchases with your Target RedCard.

And once you’re done shopping all of the Target Deal Days sales, you can hop on over to Amazon for the Prime Early Access Sale 2022 (essentially their version of Prime Day for the fall). That sale is exclusive to Prime members and will be held from October 11th through October 12th.

Our advice? Start making those Christmas lists now! Who do you have to get presents for? What types of things do they want? If you can get your lists organized now, you could truly use these sale opportunities to knock some folks off of your list and leave more time for relaxation as the holidays get closer.

While you’re in the shopping mood…have you checked our DFB exclusive graphic tees and merch?

The BEST U.S. Airports Have Been Chosen for 2022 and the Winners Might Surprise You

With things getting back to normal after the pandemic, we’ve seen a HUGE increase in travel within this year.

Orlando International Airport crowds

Airports crowds have picked back up in 2022, and we’ve seen some airports struggle to deal with the demand due to staffing shortages. Because of this, there were thousands of flight cancelations this summer. But how has that affected customer satisfaction at airports around the country? Well, the numbers are in, and some airports are ranked much higher than others.

J.D. Power has put together a 2022 Airport Satisfaction Survey, grouping airports in categories based on size. Some key points from the study concluded that travelers were unhappy about the crowd levels compared to 2021 (when travel was much less popular), high prices of foods and beverages in the airport due to inflation, and the availability of parking — also due to crowds.

Inside Terminal C at the Orlando International Airport

These problems caused overall customer satisfaction with airports in the U.S. to drop 25 points, now sitting at a score of 777/1000. But even with these issues, some airports still scored fairly high on the scale. In the “Mega Airports” category, Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport ranked first with a score of 800 out of 1000. The Orlando International Airport earned sixth place on the list with a score of 786.

Orlando International Airport

In the “Large Airports” category, Tampa International Airport took home the gold with a score of 846/1000, and John Wayne Airport in Orange County (close to Disneyland Resort) came in second with a score of 826. The winner of the “Medium Airports” category was Indianapolis International Airport with 842 points.

If you’re traveling soon, make sure to check out the full list to see where your airport ranks! And if you’re still trying to choose an airline, we’ve got a few different posts on which ones have had excellent customer satisfaction in the past year. There are some great choices whether you’re hoping to fly budget or luxury.

For all the tips on what to pack and how to navigate the airport, stay tuned to DFB! We’re seasoned travelers and we’re here to help you make the experience as smooth as possible.
