FULL SHOW PHOTOS & VIDEO: Incredible ¡Vamos! – Bàilalo Show Takes Over the Streets of Universal Studios Florida

This new exciting show features authentic Latin music an a lively and exciting show that is sure to please all audiences. This Latin dance show features heavy interaction with the audience, and is one of the most fast paced and energetic shows we’ve seen at Universal Studios.

Vamos, Bailio image 1

We found the performers to be energetic and enthusiastic, able to connect with the audience and create exciting guest interactions.

Vamos, Bailio image 2

The show features dancers set to Latin American music. It begins with just the dancers, in a high energy dance number that mixes modern musical flair with classic design.

Vamos, Bailio image 3

The dancers quickly split off into groups to show their skill within a more intimate setting, allowing the audience to focus on individual performance groups.

Vamos, Bailio image 4

The two person pairings allow the dancers to shine, doing impressive moves that relate back to the cultural heritage the show is based on.

Vamos, Bailio image 5

After pairing up, the dancers split off to dance on their own, showcasing their own unique skills and wonderful choreography.

Vamos, Bailio image 6

First, the women take the stage, utilizing how the dresses spin to create a whirlwind of a effect, prior to the men taking the stage.

Vamos, Bailio image 7

The men then take the stage for a showcase of their dancing skills.

Vamos, Bailio image 8

The groups then pair up before inviting the audience for guest interaction. It is important to note that the dancing couples feature people of the same sex as well, working well to include people of all orientations. This is a unique sight for Universal shows, and goes far to help create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests who visit the park.

Vamos, Bailio image 9

Audience members are invited to dance on stage with the performers, and are taught to twirl and dance in conjunction. This was one of the most interactive and high energy shows we have seen at Universal Studios Orlando.

Vamos, Bailio image 10

Audience members were invited to join a dance line, which added to the excitement and atmosphere around the show.

Those who viewed the show compared it to a combination of “West Side Story” and “In The Heights,” which we would agree with. Overall, this is a wonderful high energy addition to the park. This can be caught between Louie’s Italian Restaurant and Häagen-Dazs.

What do you think of this addition to the parks? Will you be watching this soon? Let us know in the comments below.

What to Grab On That Last Minute Target Run Before Your Next Disney World Trip

DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission.

If you feel like you’re the only person who gets that pre-trip panic, don’t worry! You’re not alone. It always seems like no matter how much you plan, there’s still that feeling of forgetting something!

Don’t stress! We’ve got you covered

While we might not be able to make that go away, we can help you prepare so you know that you’re covered and can relax and enjoy your vacation. With how busy we are these days it can quickly get down to the wire when it comes to packing!

To save ourselves from running around from store to store, we like to stop at our local Target because we know they’ll have everything we need. Here’s a list of some commonly-forgotten items so you can grab whatever you’re missing so your trip goes off without a hitch!

Sunscreen: Badger Mineral Kids Sunscreen Cream – SPF 40

Believe it or not, people often forget to pack sunscreen! Sometimes you get caught up in remembering to pack specific items like shirts you purchased to wear on your trip, and completely miss the basics. You might also go to pack your sunscreen and realize the day before that it’s almost empty! Head to Target to grab a couple bottles because you WILL need it.

Badger Mineral Kids Sunscreen Cream – SPF 40

This sunscreen by Badger is a great choice for a Disney vacation. It’s a mineral sunscreen which is perfect for sensitive skin. This product is also water resistant for up to 80 minutes! Even if you’re not planning on swimming, we recommend choosing a water resistant sunscreen because it will hold up longer than a traditional sunscreen through both sweat and rain. Don’t forget to keep a bottle in your park bag to reapply throughout the day!

Click here to buy the Badger Mineral Kids Sunscreen Cream – SPF 40!

Hats: Toddler Girls’ Disney Baseball Hat

Along with sunscreen, hats are a great way to protect yourself on those long hot days outside. It’s especially important to keep your face shielded from the sun, and a great way to do that is with a hat! Hats also protect your scalp, which is an area often neglected.

Toddler Girls’ Disney Baseball Hat Pink

Target has an awesome selection of different caps, but we are pretty partial to this baseball cap! The neutral colors and classic Minnie silhouette can go with a variety of different outfits. It’s also pretty much the perfect hat to wear to Animal Kingdom!

Portable Charger: Anker PowerCore Select 20000mAh

If you don’t have a portable charger, now is the time to get one! Even if you aren’t the kind of person who uses their phone all day you will have to when you go to Disney. The My Disney Experience app is your best friend in the parks, and if you decide to splurge on Genie+ that’s a whole other story!

Anker PowerCore Select 20000mAh

Just taking pictures and videos throughout the day can really drain your battery. To avoid your phone dying when you need it most you’ll need a portable charger. Disney does offer Fuel Rods that can be rented, but they have a lot of strings attached and you’ll be better off bringing your own. Anker is a trusted brand, and this one has tons of 5-star reviews!

Click here to buy the Anker PowerCore Select 20000mAh!

Insulated Water Bottle: Brita 20oz Premium Double-Wall Stainless Steel Insulated Filtered Water Bottle

Staying hydrated is probably our number one tip for having a good vacation at Disney. Dehydration can lead to headaches and muscle cramping, two things you definitely don’t want when you’re trying to walk around outside all day! Combat this by keeping a water bottle by your side at all times.

Brita 20oz Premium Double-Wall Stainless Steel Insulated Filtered Water Bottle

We like using insulated water bottles so our water stays nice and cool all day long. This one by Brita is a customer favorite and keeps water cold for up to 24 hours! Whenever you’re low, just stop by one of the many water stations around the parks for a refill. We also suggest getting a carabiner to clip your water bottle to your backpack for easy access.

Click here to buy the Brita 20oz Premium Double-Wall Stainless Steel Insulated Filtered Water Bottle!

Toddler Entertainment for the Plane: Richard Scarry’s Big Busy Sticker & Activity Book

Little ones can easily get restless when sitting on transportation for a long time with nothing to do. Keeping them busy and entertained can be the difference between a great trip and a terrible one! Especially if it’s their first time flying, you want to make sure they have a quiet activity to hold their attention during those down times.

Richard Scarry’s Big Busy Sticker & Activity Book

Any sort of busy book is a great option for those times because it doesn’t make noise, won’t make a mess, and doesn’t require any setup. Richard Scarry is a classic option for younger kids, and we love this sticker and activity book! Bring your favorite crayons to color with and let them enjoy adding stickers and creating their own little world!

Click here to buy the Richard Scarry’s Big Busy Sticker & Activity Book!

Don’t forget to check your toiletry inventory, go over outfits you plan to wear, and consider any other specific items your family may need (baby accessories, medications, etc.). For anything you’re missing, make a shopping list and head to a one stop shop like Target! Knowing you have everything you need will give you peace of mind so you can enjoy your well deserved vacation.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL: The Donald Duck Candy Corn Cup Is in Disney World!

There are Mickey pumpkins in Magic Kingdom, Pumpkin Spice Lattes at Starbucks, and the Boo to You Halloween parade is once again dancing down Main Street, U.S.A. What does that all add up to? Halloween in Disney World!

Mickey pumpkins!

We’ve seen tons of Halloween merchandise, tried so many Halloween treats and snacks, and more — but there are still things to be seen! And, speaking of, the highly-anticipated Halloween Sipper has arrived at Disney World!

Introducing the Donald Candy Corn Sipper. It’s a souvenir cup that is available at multiple locations throughout the park during both regular park hours and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. We got one from Sleepy Hollow Refreshments for $13.

Here he is!

The sipper is Donald Duck dressed up as candy corn with a trick-or-treat bucket

The ONE Thing Keeping Disney’s New Corn Dog from Greatness

When it comes to classic Disneyland snacks we just can’t resist, corn dogs definitely earn a spot on our list!

Corn Dogs!

It’s officially Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, and in honor of the occasion, Disney released over 50 NEW treats at both Disney World and Disneyland. We’ve been working our way through those delicious eats, and our latest adventure takes us to a menu item that combines two of our favorite foods.

Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort is home to Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, a small food stand that packs a big punch! In addition to serving Disneyland’s Original Hand-dipped Corn Dogs, the stand also sometimes offers limited-time menu items. From now through October 16th, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs is offering the Mexican Street Corn Dog in celebration of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month!

Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs

The festive snack is a spicy hot link dipped in batter and fried, then topped with garlic mayo, corn, cotija cheese, and cilantro, and garnished with a lime wedge. We LOVE both corn dogs and street corn, so we had to stop by and grab one for ourselves to see if it tastes as good as it sounds.

Mexican Street Corn Dog

We had high hopes for this corn dog, but overall, we’d say it was just okay. Our biggest problem with the corn dog was that the oil it was cooked in didn’t seem to be quite hot enough, so the batter on ours was pretty soggy and oily. But the dog itself was really good! It had a noticeably spicy kick and the skin had a nice snap to it.

Mexican Street Corn Dog

The garlic mayo wasn’t very garlicky, so heads up if that’s the flavor you’re most looking forward to. But the cotija cheese on top was great, and definitely one of the stand-out ingredients for us! Overall, there were some really good elements of the corn dog (shout out to the spicy hot link and cotija cheese!), but the soggy, super-oily batter knocked it down a lot for us.

Here’s A Closer Look at the Toppings!

At $15, it was a bit pricy for us considering we weren’t blown away, but if these flavor combos are right up your alley, it may be worth giving it a shot. The Mexican Street Corn Dog is available at Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs now through October 16th, if you’d like to swing by and give it a try!

A Treat That Went Missing is Finally BACK in Magic Kingdom!

We’ve got an important update for your sweet tooth!

Main Street Confectionery

One of the first places waiting to greet guests into Magic Kingdom is the Main Street Confectionery. After undergoing a refurbishment, this sweet shop reopened in 2021 with a brand-new look and new offerings. One of the new features is the Kernel Kitchen, a create-your-own popcorn mixing stationBack in July, we noticed that original Skittles had gone missing from the list of options, and we’ve been keeping an eye out for updates ever since.

In addition to original Skittles being removed from the Kernel Kitchen and bulk candy section, the Dapper Dan mix — an option that included original Skittles — was also missing.

The Dapper Dan Mix Went Missing Earlier This Year!

We spoke with Cast Members about the missing treats, and they told us that the reason for the temporary change was because the classic Skittles flavor mix was transitioning the green flavor from green apple back to lime. While the individually wrapped Skittles packages switched over pretty quickly, the original flavor mix has been missing in action from the bulk section and Kernel Kitchen for awhile.

Lime is Back in Individually Wrapped Skittles!

And after months of waiting, we FINALLY spotted the return of the Dapper Dans Sweet Melody Mix to the Kernal Kitchen!

The Dapper Dans Mix is BACK!

Plus, original Skittles have also returned to the list of candy add-in options for guests creating their own popcorn mix at the Kernal Kitchen.

Original Skittles Are Back at the Kernel Kitchen!

We did notice that original Skittles still weren’t back in the bulk candy section yet. A Cast Member told us that they do have the updated mix with the lime-flavored green Skittles in stock, but that Mars is in charge of the bulk dispensers and they just haven’t switched the flavors out yet. So, it sounds like original Skittles will likely be back in the bulk candy section soon too!

Not Back in the Bulk Candy Section Yet!

As usual, we’ll continue to keep a close eye on all of the snack updates around Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for all of the latest news!
