“Cat in the Hat” Dr. Suess Loungefly Wallet — $55.00

The wallet is white pleather, with black zippers and straps.

It is patterned all over with images from the original Dr. Seuss book in black and red. The images include the Cat in the Hat, the goldfish, a rake, umbrella, cake, and more tumbling around.

The interior of the wallet is lined with red and white stripes, and features black card slots and a window for an ID.

In a public Facebook post, Cast Member Morgan Schoepfer has taken Disney to task for refusing to make accommodations for her recognized medical condition while working as a Cast Member, in likely violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

In her lengthy post, Schoepfer accuses Disney of refusing to make reasonable accommodations related to her mild Spastic Cerebral Palsy, a clear violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The ADA requires “reasonable accommodations” to be made which will still allow the employee to do the essential tasks of the job, and all businesses with employees of 15 or more are required to abide by the ADA.

“Since I got here, Disney has refused to accommodate me, in multiple ways, but the most prominent being with my sitting accommodation. I am required to sit every 30 minutes, due to my mild spastic Cerebral Palsy, and chronic fatigue. Disney has refused to meet this accommodation, regardless of multiple complaints and meetings,” she says. “I have been told by leadership VERBATIM, ‘if you need accommodations or you are chronically ill, maybe Disney is not the place for you.’”

Disney’s apparent refusal to accommodate her in spite of appropriate medical documentation presented led her to pass out multiple times in recent weeks. “After being put in positions that do not allow me to sit as often as needed, I passed out 3 times (one time in the arms of one of best friends), hit my head, and started having convulsions,” she continues. “When I got to the hospital and I was checked out, I was told this happened as a result of standing for too long, a direct violation of one of my accommodations.”

One of her chat images attached to the post implies that Schoepfer intends to take legal action against Disney for these violations, although no action seems to have been filed as of publishing.

Disney Carousels Snow Globe – $39.99

First up is this snow globe, which features a carousel horse on a golden pole.

The light blue base features the Disney Carousels logo in pink above the phrase “Carousels Around the World.”

The horse sports a pink and purple saddle, accented with a light blue headpiece and pink reins.

The look is completed with a top resembling the tents that each carousel runs under.

When shaken, gold circular confetti dances around the globe.

We found this at WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney District.

Disney Carousels Keychain – $14.99

The Disney Carousels logo, which features a horse in front of a blue and red crest, is shown on a golden keychain. It also comes with a charm of the classic Disneyland “D” in blue in front of a similarly-shaped yellow and red crest.

Disney Carousels Loungefly Handbag – $80.00

If fashion accessories are what turn you around, there’s this Loungefly handbag which features horses from carousels at Disney Parks around the world in two-toned patterns of blue, red, and orange.

These include King Arthur Carrousel in Disneyland, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at the Magic Kingdom, Castle Carrousel at Tokyo Disneyland, Le Carrousel de Lancelot in Disneyland Paris, Cinderella Carousel in Hong Kong Disneyland, and Fantasia Carousel in Shanghai Disneyland.

Disney is seemingly monitoring social media sites and canceling the tickets of guests who re-sell Oogie Boogie Bash tickets.

According to a Facebook user who contacted us, one user in an Oogie Boogie Bash Facebook group had all seven event tickets they purchased canceled because they re-sold four of them.

Disney is issuing refunds to guests after canceling the tickets but is not making the tickets available for others to purchase again. Oogie Boogie Bash has been sold out since July.

Some guests who have re-sold tickets are also reportedly having their Magic Key passes revoked.
