Old Hollywood, favorite characters, Star Wars, Pixar…this park has it ALL!

That’s right, we’re talking about Disney’s Hollywood Studios! It’s an incredibly popular stop in Disney World these days thanks to newer additions like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Toy Story Land, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, but there’s so much to discover besides just those things. To prove it, here’s a list of everything that’s new in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Hollywood Studios Food Updates

Snack Carts

At snack carts around the park, we noticed that the Sweet and Savory Popcorn mix was BACK again! This combination has a mix of caramel popcorn and cheese popcorn. YUM.

Hollywood Studios Construction Updates

Toy Story Land

There are two big construction projects happening in Toy Story Land currently, one of which is the Roundup Rodeo BBQ restaurant! This spot has seen a few updates, with scaffolding added to the outside and a visible awning above what looks to be the entrance to the restaurant.

Also, there has been some construction happening in the Toy Story Mania queue. As you exit the ride, there’s a large construction wall on the side by Woody’s Lunch Box.

It seems that there’s some work being done next to the quick service restaurant, but it’s not visible at this time. We’ll look out for any changes.

Hollywood Studios Attractions Updates

Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage

At the Beauty and the Beast stage show on Sunset Boulevard, we noticed some new signage this week. Finding the entrance to the theater can be a bit confusing, so Disney has opted to clarify with directions pointing towards the Lightning Lane and the standby queue.

Hopefully, this will help clear up any confusion!

Hollywood Studios Merchandise Updates

Celebrity 5&10

Let’s start things out at Celebrity 5&10, where we had quite a few new Christmas ornaments available in the home section. First up, there’s this adorable Winnie the Pooh ornament for $26.99. Look at him checking out that hunny-filled belly in the mirror!

Celebrating 90 years of Mickey’s pal, this Goofy ornament is available for $26.99 as well.

And speaking of classic characters, check out the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Ornament! It’s a little cheaper at $24.99.

Even Daisy got her own design! You can purchase this ornament for $24.99.

There were also a number of ornaments inspired by Disney movies. We had the Lilo & Stitch ornament…

…a design to salute The Rescuers…

…this one for The Lion King…

…and a Jungle Book design! These were all $24.99 each.

There’s also a new Tinker Bell ornament for $26.99. This one has got some personality!

And if you’re a fan of the underrated Disney film, Treasure Planet, then you’ll want to pick up this matching ornament for $24.99. It’s not often that we see Treasure Planet merchandise!

Finally, we’ve got two designs for princess fans. A Rapunzel ornament for $24.99…

…and one made to look like Giselle from Enchanted for $26.99. How pretty!

In the section of the store known as The Darkroom, you’ll find MagicBands, pins, Apple Watch bands, phone cases, and the like. This week, we spotted a new Tower of Terror MagicBand+ in there for $44.99.

We also found two new pins in The Darkroom. There’s a Lucifer pin…

…and this design from the movie Bolt for $19.99 each.

Both are great Halloween souvenirs for cat fans!

Mickey’s of Hollywood

Across the street, you can visit Mickey’s of Hollywood, where we found the Halloween Reusable Shopping Bag this week.

You can purchase this bag for $5.99.

Keystone Clothiers

Also on Hollywood Boulevard, you’ll find Keystone Clothiers. This shop is known for carrying Marvel and Star Wars merchandise, and this week we spotted several new items inside. The new collection for the upcoming Marvel film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was here, which included this button-up shirt for $59.99.

We also found the matching Wakanda Forever scarf for $39.99.

And if you want something more casual, get the Wakanda Forever long-sleeve tee for $39.99.

In the back of the store, there was a small section of merchandise dedicated to George Lucas’s film Willow. There’s a new set of Willow figurines in this collection for $19.99.

And fans of the movie will want to check out the matching t-shirt as well! It’s available in adult sizes for $36.99.

Got some kiddos with a light sibling rivalry? This Thor & Loki Halloween Shirt for Kids caught our eye this week.

Grab matching ones for your little ones for $29.99 each.

Tatooine Traders

New Wonderground Gallery postcards arrived in Tatooine Traders this week. The Star Wars designs are inspired by Attack of the Clones…

…as well as the sequel trilogy characters. You can get them for $6.99 each.

If you don’t already have enough Baby Yoda merchandise (is there really such a thing as too much?!), then take a look at this new Grogu Collectible Figure for $29.99.

And last, in Tatooine Traders, we spotted this Obi-Wan Kenobi pin set.

It’s available for $39.99.

Legends of Hollywood

Heading down Sunset Boulevard, there were some new items in Legends of Hollywood. First, we noticed the new COACH x Disney Mug for $35.

This store was also home to the new Color Me Courtney Princess Tiana Prints. They match the rest of the collection that was released a few weeks ago.

You can get them for $199.99 each.

Tower Gifts

Down the road at the Tower of Terror gift shop, we spotted this Up to No Good Bag.

This looks like the perfect Halloween accessory if you ask us! Get it for $39.99.

Rock Around the Shop

Next door at Rock Around the Shop, there’s a new Marvel Airpod Case for $19.99.

The design features some fan-favorite Avengers!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Marketplace

And finally, we stopped at the marketplace in Galaxy’s Edge to see if there was anything new there. Inside the Black Spire Outfitters shop, we noticed this new Black Spire Hat for $29.99. That’ll have you looking like the locals!

Across the walkway in Jewels of Bith, there were some new bags. First, we’ve got this set of three animal-inspired pouches for $29.99.

And then we found this Black Spire Outpost Fanny Pack (or belt bag, whichever you prefer) for $24.99.

Get out your party hat, because Disney is about to celebrate BIG!

Loungefly Bags

There were MULTIPLE new Loungefly bags that were released online this week, so if you’re looking for a new theme park accessory, you’ll definitely want to check out this list. First up, we’ve got a new Powerline Loungefly Backpack from BoxLunch for all you fans of A Goofy Movie out there!

There’s also a new Amazon exclusive bag, featuring a character who doesn’t often get his own merchandise — Sebastian from The Little Mermaid! The bag reminds us of the “Under the Sea” scene from the movie, and you can even snag a matching wallet.

If you’re looking for a Disney Loungefly that’s unique and stands out, we recommend this Mickey & Minnie Space Loungefly Backpack that’s part of the Walt Disney Archives Collection. The black, white, and gold design is available for $80.

And speaking of unique backpack designs, say hello to the Toy Story Wheezy Loungefly Backpack from Amazon! It’s not often that we get Wheezy merchandise, and this one is so fun — he’s even got a little microphone.

Clothes & Accessories

The rest of the merchandise we spotted this week falls into the “clothes and accessories” category. First of all, some of the runDisney Princess Half Marathon merchandise is now available for pre-sale.

If you’re heading to the parks and hoping to pack some snacks for your visit, we’ve got you covered! You’ll definitely want to check out the new Disney Cooler Tote Bags we spotted online.

It’s not too early to start preparing for the holiday season, and you can go ahead and order one of the most important outfits you’ll need — Christmas pajamas! Some Disney holiday designs are already online, including a set for your dog.

Disney Crocs have been all the rage recently, and a new pair dropped online this week! The retro look is part of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Vault Collection, and they match the spirit jersey that was released a while back.

Finally, we got a large new collection of MagicBand+ designs online! These new bands have been pretty popular in Disney World recently, and now they’re expanding designs to feature more favorite characters.

The post 6 New Loungefly Backpacks and MORE Disney Merchandise Has Arrived Online first appeared on the disney food blog.

We have been following the development of Tropical Depression 9 and its potential impact on Florida over the last few days. Tropical Depression 9 is being monitored and will soon turn into a Tropical Storm. The path of the storm is not certain, but it could become a major hurricane threat for Florida.

In anticipation of this, Governor Ron DeSantis has issued a state of emergency for 24 Florida counties as the storm has continued to strengthen. 

One of the counties listed is a Disney World county, so we want to make sure that all of our readers are informed! Below is a list of the following counties under state of emergency.

Brevard, Broward, Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lee, Manatee, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Okeechobee, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota, and St. Lucie. We will continue to update this list as counties are removed or added.

WPBF shared the following statement from DeSantis, “Today, I signed an executive order issuing a State of Emergency due to the threat of Tropical Depression 9,” DeSantis said. “This storm has the potential to strengthen into a major hurricane and we encourage all Floridians to make their preparations. We are coordinating with all state and local government partners to track potential impacts of this storm.”

The post NEWS: State of Emergency Declared for 24 Florida Counties Ahead of Tropical Depression 9 first appeared on the disney food blog.

Hurricanes are known to impact Florida almost every year, and the season is not yet over.

In fact, we’ve seen several storms to watch lately, like Fiona and Gaston, and now, there’s a new tropical depression that could potentially be on its way to Florida. So, if you’re flying into Orlando soon, you need to be aware of some changes that have been made due to the weather.

Tropical Depression 9 is being watched now and will soon turn into a Tropical Storm. The path of the storm is not certain, but it could become a major hurricane threat for Florida.

In anticipation of this, Orlando International Airport tweeted out a message saying that pre-storm precautions and protective measures are being taken to coordinate airport activities. They said that the relocation dates for jetBlue & Caribbean Airlines to Terminal C will be rescheduled.

In anticipation of the possible incoming weather, it has been decided that the relocation dates for jetBlue & Caribbean Airlines to Terminal C will be rescheduled. Please contact your airline directly for any specific details in regards to their flight operations. Thank you.

Terminal C is the brand new terminal that just opened up this week at the airport, and several airlines are planned to be flying out of the terminal moving forward.

If you’re flying into Orlando in the next few days, make sure you keep up with any info or announcements from your airline and the airport. We’ll be keeping an eye on the storm and let you know if any other major changes happen at Orlando International Airport.

At time of writing, Tropical Depression 9 could come to Florida next week as a major Category 3 hurricane, according to The Orlando Sentinel. This has caused Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to declare a state of emergency in 24 counties, including Osceola, where part of Disney World is located. It has not been declared in Orange County at this time, which is where Orlando International Airport and the majority of Disney World is located.

The storm could either become Hurricane Hermine or Hurricane Ian — it just depends on how fast it intensifies compared to another new tropical depression in the Atlantic Ocean.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has declared a State of Emergency for twenty-four counties across Florida including Osceola County, which holds portions of Walt Disney World, as Tropical Depression Nine seems on track to slam into Florida in the coming days.

“The severity and track of Tropical Depression 9 will continue to evolve. Because of this and the potential for dangerous storm surge, heavy rainfall, strong winds, flash flooding, and the potential for isolated tornadic activity,” per a statement from the Governor’s office.

The following twenty-four counties are impacted: Brevard, Broward, Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lee, Manatee, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Okeechobee, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota, and St. Lucie.

“This storm has the potential to strengthen into a major hurricane and we encourage all Floridians to make their preparations,” he said. “We are coordinating with all state and local government partners to track potential impacts of this storm.” Gov. DeSantis said today.

The Orlando Sentinel reports it’s likely this storm would be named Hurricane Ian, and could be as strong as a Category 3 storm.

The portions of Walt Disney World within Osceola County are Disney’s All-Star Resorts and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
