Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Walt Disney World- A Steal of a Deal!

If you read the title of this article and are already confident that I have lost my mind, hear me out! I know I am claiming that something that costs a significant chunk of change is a steal of a deal, but I might even take it a step further and say that for my family, it was the best value of a magical extra that we’ve ever experienced in Disney!

We recently went to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Magic Kingdom since it reopened on our quick weekend getaway and snagged a last-minute appointment for our daughter. She is seven and loves makeup and being pampered, so I was excited to try this. We opted for the least expensive package, The Carriage Package, which is currently priced at $99.95 plus tax. With our package, we received a beautiful shirt (much better quality than I expected), a cinch-style backpack, a sash, her hair done, makeup applied (which we got to keep, and she has happily reapplied), nails painted, and an unforgettable experience! I’ll admit I was skeptical before we got there, thinking this was a very expensive hairdo, but after experiencing it, I completed am converted.

It started upon arrival when we were presented with a book to explore the various packages. Since we had a dress from home, we opted out of the more expensive packages that included a dress. After selecting our package, she was ushered into a fitting room to see her shirt and begin the experience! The mirror quickly transformed with Fairy Godmother appearing. This was such a magical surprise and one we were not expecting.

After this, we were brought across to Cinderella’s Castle, where the transformation began. There were a variety of hairstyles to choose from, each coming with its own special “extra”- whether it be a little tiara, a floral headband, a bow, etc. After selecting her style, her Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice began doing her hair, makeup, and nails. As we sat there being pampered, Cast Members also took pictures so we could have these moments with us long after the last bit of glitter was scrubbed from her hair.

Overall, for the price, my daughter had a makeover that she proudly trotted throughout Magic Kingdom with and souvenirs to bring home. Many experiences at Disney cost a pretty penny, and when you walk away, that’s it. You have your memories, some photos, but not necessarily a physical reminder of the event.

My daughter proudly wore her BBB shirt to school the day we returned from our trip and has been carrying her backpack around the house as well. For the price, we got a magical experience, souvenirs from this special time, and for me, a core memory made of that moment my daughter saw herself for the first time. Her face was priceless, and I will continue to recommend Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to anyone with a child who enjoys being pampered.
