Halloween Time has officially begun at Disneyland Resort, which means Haunted Mansion Holiday is now open! This version of the classic attraction is inspired by “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
A Sandy Claws scarecrow is outside the mansion, which is also decorated with jack-o’-lanterns, Halloween garland, and more.
As we reported yesterday, the grass outside the Haunted Mansion has been replaced with artificial turf.
Inside, the theming continues through every inch of the Haunted Mansion, including the stretching portraits room.
This is where guests first encounter Jack Skellington, dressed as Sandy Claws.
All of the portraits in the portrait hall have been replaced with winter scenes.
A unique gingerbread house is constructed in the dancing scene each year.
Lock, Shock, and Barrel are atop this year’s gingerbread house, which sits on the dining room table.
Oogie Boogie’s minions are operating a guillotine with a (presumably dull) blade that actually moves up and down.
The Hatbox Ghost is celebrating the holidays, too.
Jack appears again with his ghost dog Zero at the beginning of the graveyard scene.
Before the ride ends, of course guests run into Oogie Boogie and his wheel of holiday tricks and treats.
