We’ve been making our rounds at Disneyland trying new fall and Halloween-themed treats, and now we stopped to try this Octoberfest-inspired Burger at Galactic Grill in Disneyland Park.
It’s worth noting that Disney spells it as “Octoberfest” rather than “Oktoberfest” on the menu.
Octoberfest-Inspired Burger — $15.49
This is an angus beef patty, bratwurst, grilled peppers and onions, sauerkraut and house-made mustard cheese on a pretzel bun with choice of Greek yogurt or french fries.
This burger is fantastic! It’s loaded with lots of different flavors that are individually great on their own, but also work well together. The burger patty itself leaves much to be desired; it’s just an average frozen burger patty. But the crumbled bratwurst on top, the grilled onions and peppers and the sauerkraut bring a distinctive Oktoberfest flair to the otherwise mundane burger.
Then with the addition of the mustard cheese sauce, it elevates this dish to being exceptional. While each of the ingredients, except for the burger patty, are delicious on their own, they all work together very well and make for a fantastic dining experience. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this burger and will definitely be revisiting again soon.
