A Peanut Candy Churro is now available at the Grizzly Peak churro cart in Disney California Adventure for the fall season.

Peanut Candy Churro – $6.75

Rolled in peanut powder, sugar and crushed peanuts, drizzled with peanut butter sauce

We were really not expecting to like this one, and yet we were proven wrong.

The peanut powder complements the churro well and the sugary churro itself is just sweet enough to offset the heartiness of the peanuts.

The peanut butter icing drizzle is a supporting role, never quite stepping into the forefront of the palate but present nonetheless.

It has a touch of sweetness but again, not overpowering.

This is one of those rare peanut butter treats that’s not overly decadent, not overly peanutty, but features the character of peanut flavor throughout nonetheless. It’s a rare find and an interesting one.
