Should You Skip Starbucks for Disney’s New Pumpkin Coffee? We Found Out.

Halloween in the Disney parks is one of the BEST times of the year (at least we tend to think so!).

Over in Disneyland, we’ve caught the first glimpses of fall decor and are getting ready to get our spooky on at Oogie Boogie Bash, too! Not to mention, a TON of Halloween treats have started popping up in the parks and today we’re trying one that might put a little pep in your step!

Red Rose Taverne is a popular quick-service spot smack dab in the middle of Fantasyland, and they’re serving up some special treats for Halloween! We popped on over there to check out the NEW Pumpkin Cold Brew — it’s made with pumpkin flavored cold brew, vanilla, and spices topped with whipped cream. It’s available for $6.29.

It looks pretty!

This is absolutely delicious! But, unfortunately, it didn’t really taste like pumpkin to us. It’s more of a coffee flavored with pumpkin spices, which is still tasty!

It’s not very sweet and there is a nice balance between the spices — we definitely picked up on some cardamom! The cream and cold brew go really well together as well.

Tasty!

The coffee is light and refreshing (which is great because it’s still pretty warm out) and the cinnamon with the whipped cream on top really takes it up a notch! If you’re a fan of coffee with a bunch of spice flavors in it, then this is a great option. But, if you’re looking for a pumpkin-flavored coffee, we would probably just stick with your Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte.

It’s very photogenic

So, if you’re looking for a caffeine boost but aren’t in the mood for a regular coffee, head on over to Red Rose Taverne and grab the Pumpkin Cold Brew! While you’re there, you can also check out the Halloween snacks they have like the Mickey Bat Cookie and the Grave Stuff.
