We’re now in the “-ember” months, the giant Mickey jack-o-lantern is back on Main Street, U.S.A., in Disneyland, and Pumpkin Spice Lattes are on the menu at Starbucks, so that can only mean one thing: it’s FALL. A ton of snacks and treats are coming to Disneyland to celebrate the season, and we’re about to try a NEW sundae.
Come with us to Main Street, U.S.A., to track down an ice cream sundae that’s arrived for Halloween. Is this treat worth the cost and stomach space? We’re about to find out.
The Rocky Road Halloween Sundae is a new treat on the menu at Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor, which is located on Main Street, U.S.A., in Disneyland Park. Don’t forget to take in all the fall and Halloween decorations as you walk down the street!
Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor has ice cream in many forms: sundaes, scoops, cones, and floats, just to name a few. The Rocky Road Halloween Sundae is made with a Rocky Road Waffle Bowl that’s filled with Rocky Road Ice Cream, topped with Marshmallow Cream, Hot Fudge, Whipped Cream, and Sprinkles. You can get it for $8.49.
You guys — just say “yes” to grabbing this sundae. Everything was good about this treat — especially the Rocky Road Ice Cream and Marshmallow Cream. They combined to create a chocolatey and sweet dessert. And thanks to the Hot Fudge (and California heat), everything melted together, which honestly just made the sundae even better.
Our Waffle Cone seemed to be freshly-made as well, so that was the figurative “cherry on top” of this sundae!
We had no complaints about this treat, so if you’re a fan of Rocky Road and Chocolate, make sure you head to Disneyland Park and grab this before November 10th! The sundae will only be around until that date. And remember that you can use Mobile Order to get the sundae without having to wait in line.
There are more than 50 new treats and snacks coming to Disneyland for the Halloween and fall seasons, so you’ll have plenty to choose from if you’re visiting the parks soon. And don’t forget that Oogie Boogie Bash will kick off on September 6th, bringing treat trails, a Halloween parade, and villainous meet-and-greets to Disney California Adventure. Tickets have already sold out for this event.
We’ll continue to watch for more updates from Disneyland, and we’ll be sure to let you know which of the new treats are the BEST (besides this delicious sundae), so stay tuned to DFB.
