Big changes might be on the horizon for the Disney World parks, including new rides, updated lands, and more. But what changes are happening right NOW?
Little things change all the time in Disney World — new snacks, merchandise, construction projects, and more pop up all the time. So come with us to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to find out what’s NEW since the last time we visited!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Food Updates
Disney World is currently celebrating Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month with LOTS of new snacks and treats around the parks and hotels. If you want to grab any of the new eats, you’ll have to hurry — most are only available until the end of the celebration on October 15th. Here are a few of the limited-time offerings that we tried recently!
Rosie’s All-American Cafe
At Rosie’s All-American Cafe, we got the new Tres Leches. These are tres leches cake served with whipped cream, a fresh strawberry, strawberry candy rocks, and a white chocolate coin. You can get one for $5.49.
We thought the Tres Leches cake was delicious! Although ours was missing the fresh strawberry (probably a fluke, since we were the first ones to buy it), the flavors were all still very tasty together, and we would highly recommend this as a light and flavorful dessert.

BaseLine Tap House
We didn’t have the same luck over at BaseLine Tap House. This is where we tried the Michelada for $10. The Michelada is made with Golden Road Golden State Cerveza, tomato-clam juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and chili-lime seasoning.
To us, this tasted like a spicy tomato-flavored beer. It might be your jam if you’re a big Bloody Mary fan, but we weren’t really into it. There was just too much heat from the hot sauce, and we thought it overwhelmed the rest of the flavors.

Backlot Express
Finally, we cooled off that drink with the Frozen Mojito. It’s made with Bacardí Superior Rum, Lime Juice, and Mint Mojito flavor for $14, and you can find it at Backlot Express.
We loved this drink! It was light and refreshing, with a strong citrus flavor and just a hint of mint.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Construction Updates
There were a few little changes around the park that we noticed as we were walking around. First of all, there were banners for Disney’s upcoming Andor series in Animation Courtyard. The Star Wars series will premiere on Disney+ on September 21st.
Over at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, we noticed that Mobile Checkout is now available in this shop! You can skip the line at the register by using the My Disney Experience app to scan and purchase the souvenirs you want.
While we were shopping around, we also noticed that the Dok-Ondar animatronic is missing again — the curtain was pulled over to hide his usual spot.
At Toy Story Land, we saw an exciting update at Roundup Rodeo BBQ — the new table service restaurant coming to this land in 2022. You can now see scaffolding up beyond the construction walls!
The restaurant will serve barbecue and will be themed to a rodeo playset. We can’t wait to go inside when it opens!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Merchandise Updates

…and a Jasmine necklace for $55.
The necklace has charms inspired by Jasmine’s aesthetic.
Tower Hotel Gifts
After you finish riding the Tower of Terror, take a second to look around the gift shop located near the exit. It has some fun treasures you won’t see in many other places! For example, we found a Funko Pop! set with a golden bellhop Mickey and a little Tower of Terror figurine. This set costs $39.99.
There was also a Sleeping Beauty Disney Designer Doll.
We’ve seen several of those gorgeous dolls in the parks and online, but hey don’t come cheap. This one will set you back $129.99.

…and another magnet featuring Sox. Each of these magnets costs $14.99.
