Have you heard the recent news about Disney World?!
During Disney’s D23 Expo, it was revealed that an expansion was being considered for Magic Kingdom, and that DinoLand U.S.A. could be replaced. None of it’s official yet, but the ideas are pretty interesting. Would these new areas make the parks way more crowded? Would lines get longer? We can’t know until it possibly happens, but we CAN plan for the wait times we have right now. So, let’s take a look at all of the average wait times from around Disney World this week!
Magic Kingdom
Let’s head to Magic Kingdom! This week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan’s Flight tied for the highest wait time at 44 minutes.
After that, we had Jungle Cruise at 33 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 31 minutes, Splash Mountain at 30 minutes, Space Mountain at 23 minutes, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 22 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 21 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 21 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 20 minutes, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 19 minutes.
Next, we had Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 13 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 13 minutes,“it’s a small world” at 11 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway at 10 minutes, and Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 9 minutes.
Then, we saw Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 8 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 8 minutes, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 8 minutes, Mad Tea Party at 7 minutes, and Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 7 minutes.
And rides that had even lower wait times were Liberty Square Riverboat at 4 minutes and Carousel of Progress at 4 minutes. Rides with no waits were Country Bear Jamboree, Tom Sawyer Island, Hall of Presidents, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

EPCOT
Over in EPCOT, the ride with the longest average wait was Frozen Ever After at 55 minutes.
Then, we had Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at 51 minutes, Test Track at 44 minutes, Soarin’ at 17 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 12 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 10 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 8 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 8 minutes, Living with the Land at 8 minutes, Gran Fiesta Tour at 7 minutes, and The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 5 minutes.
Most of the theater shows in EPCOT had zero waits this past week! These included: Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!
These Will Be the Hardest Disney World Dining Reservations to Get in 2023
Hollywood Studios
Moving on to Hollywood Studios, Rise of the Resistance had the highest average wait time this week at 73 minutes.
After that, we had Slinky Dog Dash at 64 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 49 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 48 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 45 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 43 minutes, and Tower of Terror at 34 minutes.
And finally, we had Alien Swirling Saucers at 25 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 14 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 10 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D at 10 minutes, and Walt Disney Presents at 9 minutes.

Animal Kingdom
Hopping over to Animal Kingdom, the ride with the longest average wait time this week was Avatar Flight of Passage at 55 minutes.
Then, we had Na’vi River Journey at 54 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 27 minutes, Kali River Rapids at 21 minutes, Expedition Everest at 17 minutes, and DINOSAUR at 12 minutes.
Following behind was It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 9 minutes, Triceratop Spin at 5 minutes, The Boneyard at 0 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.

As you can see, they’re still pretty low compared to what we’re used to seeing during the summer and other busy times during the year.
