Join us for an evening of haunted Halloween fun as we check out Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure Park! We enjoyed many offerings limited only to this event such as specialty character meet and greets, treat trails, and a special parade!

TREAT TRAILS

Scattered throughout the park, there are several “Treat Trail” locations! These combine classic trick-or-treating with an exclusive character experience! Each trail has several stops for candy, with a special character interaction area in the middle or at the end of the trail. We felt this was a really great and expedited way to both get candy, and see all the characters without having the long lines we normally get back in Walt Disney World.

One of our favorites from the night was Ernesto De La Cruz from the movie Coco! Throughout his performance, he performed the number “Remember Me” as well as interacted with guests while passing by. Although he was up on a stage, it still provided a great photo opportunity!

FRIGHTFULLY FUN PARADE

After making our rounds to gather some treats and meet some characters, we settled down at a spot by Pixar Pier to watch the Frightfully Fun Parade! This parade features several fan-favorite Disney characters and villains including but not limited to Ursula, Jack Skellington, The Hitchhiking Ghosts, Dr. Facilier, and more! Showtimes for this parade are typically at 7:45pm and 10:00pm. The parade route runs from Pixar Pier, all the way to Buena Vista Street, and finishing out in Hollywood Land. This is definitely a can’t miss parade at this event!
