Staying at one of the Disney World hotels provides a few valuable perks to a Disney vacation. You have access to free transportation to and from the parks, you can take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry, and there are often fun Disney-themed activities going on around the hotels.
If you’re planning to stay at one of the themed resorts on Disney World property, you might want to know about some new things that have recently arrived or changed! Come along with us to check out lots of new eats, some Disney souvenirs, and a few construction updates.
Let’s start out with the food updates — get ready, because there are a LOT of new snacks and drinks!
Disney’s Riviera Resort Food Updates
Bar Riva
Bar Riva at Disney’s Riviera Resort has several new eats available. We tried the Burrata Salad which has heirloom tomatoes, fresh pesto, and focaccia bread for $15.99.
There was also a Salmon with Orzo dish, made with seared salmon with Pomodroccio tapenade and lemon orzo for $20.99.
The Mushroom Arancini is made with risotto, mushroom, cheese, and truffle, served with a house-made marinara. This one was $12.99.
And we also had Molten Chocolate Cake for $7.29. It’s a warm chocolate cake with a molten center, topped with raspberry sauce and fresh raspberries.
Finally, we’ve got the Riviera Signature Cookie! You’ll actually find this treat next door at Primo Piatto for $3.79, but we asked our server about it and they brought one to our table at Bar Riva, adding it to the tab for our meal.
You can head in now and try out all of these eats!

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter Food Updates
Scat Cat’s Club – Lounge
At Scat Cat’s Club Lounge, there were some new plant-based items on the menu! The Sassy Sassagoula Sliders for $12 feature three sliders with three distinct flavor profiles: spicy, sweet, and savory — the three “S’s,” if you will.
Our favorite was the savory slider! It has a lot of garlicky salty flavor that nearly brought tears of joy to our eyes, and it almost reminded us of a McDonald’s Big Mac.
We also tried some Plant-Based Beignets, which we thought were pillowy, sweet, and delicious.
It’s great to have some plant-based items available at this lounge!

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Food Updates
Belle Vue Lounge
Looking for some new cocktails to try out? Head to Belle Vue Lounge at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. This spot has 3 new drinks on the menu right now. The Orange Blossom Manhattan is made with Knob Creek Disney Single Barrel Bourbon, Cointreau Noir, orange blossom honey, and orange blossom bitters for $16.50.
Next up is the non-alcoholic Agave Garden, made with Lyer’s Agave Reserva Spirit (non-alcoholic), cold-pressed lime juice, passionfruit papaya green tea, and cucumber for $11.
And finally, there’s a cocktail more on the dessert side of things — the Cold Brew Martini. This is SelvaRey Chocolate Run, Tia Maria Liqueur, and Joffrey’s Cold Brew for $15.50.
Overall, we’d call these drinks a bit strange (for the Manhattan), very sour (for the Agave Garden), and luxuriously sweet (for the Martini!).

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Food Updates
Roaring Fork
Our last stop for new eats is Roaring Fork, a counter service restaurant at the Wilderness Lodge. For breakfast, you can find some sweet or savory options. The Meat and Potatoes Quiche is $8.99 and is made with broccoli, potatoes, bacon, ham, and gouda cheese. It comes with a side of potatoes, peppers, and onions.
Next, we got the Grizzly Bear Claw for $9.99. This is served warm and has mixed nuts and raisin filling. As you can see, this bear claw is HUGE! It’s literally about 9 inches across, which is very impressive.
Finally, we tried the Blueberry Cinnamon Roll for $8.99.
This has fresh blueberries and blueberry cream cheese frosting.
Check out our full review of the new breakfast items here.
We came back later for lunch to try out even more new items! We started things off with the Asian Style Noodle Salad. This is made with Tofu, Crispy Rice Noodles, and Fried Wonton Strips. It’s priced at $12.99.
Then it was time for some comfort food with the Country-Style Baked Meatloaf. This is served with Buttery Green Peas, Chunky Mashed Potatoes, and Gravy. It’s priced at $14.99.
We also decided to try the Barbecued Brisket and Burnt Ends, which is served with Potato Hash, and Fiery Coleslaw. It’s priced at $18.99.
Then we moved on to dessert with the Humphery Bee Hive Cake. It’s made of a Chocolate Cake with Passion Fruit Mousse, Sugar Bees, and a White Chocolate Humphrey. You can pick it up for $7.99.
Another dessert we tried was the Almond-Walnut Bundt Cake. This is priced at $6.29 and features a Coffee Glaze and Cream Cheese Icing.
Finally, we ended this dessert extravaganza with a snack that might just win in the style department — the Bear Mousse Cake!
This is priced at $7.99 and features Raspberry Mousse, Almond Cake, and Dark Chocolate Ganache.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Construction Update
Belle Vue Lounge
The Belle Vue Lounge didn’t just get new drinks — it also got a decor makeover! There are new couches and chairs here, so you can check out the refresh when you visit.
The style went from plaids and paisleys to a brighter blue theme with some light brown accent chairs.
See more pictures of the new furniture here!
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Construction Update
If you visit the Grand Floridian Resort, you can check out a beautifully spooky Haunted Mansion display that has been set up in the lobby for the Halloween season! The last time we saw this display, it was finally completed.
And the best part of this display? It’s made entirely of CHOCOLATE!
Check out a new walkway between this hotel and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
