The holidays have arrived at Disneyland Resort, for real this time! Guests can now enjoy holiday decorations throughout both parks, including snow caps and icicles on Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Park and the Christmas tree at the front of Disney California Adventure. So join us on a tour of all the decorations installed so far!
Disneyland Park
Faux icicles drip from the towers of Sleeping Beauty Castle while decorative white snow sits on the turrets.
At night, the icicles and snow will light up, bringing festive cheer to the park.
Garland and a large wreath also usually hang across the front of the castle but have not yet been installed.
Garland has already appeared on Main Street, U.S.A., adorning windows and doorways.
Most of the garland is green with red bows.
Ornaments and other baubles are inside the garland.
Christmas decorations have also been added to some window displays.
Wreaths hang in shop windows.
There are also decorations in Frontierland.
Green wreaths with pinecones, bells, and plaid ribbons are on the lampposts leading into the land.
Garland runs above the Frontierland sign.
More garland hangs across the Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition.
Small red baubles in this garland look like berries.
The wreaths and decorations throughout Frontierland are filled with themed items like barrels, pinecones, and jugs.
The bow on this piece has a bandana pattern.
Even full cowboy boots are attached to some lampposts.
The berry-filled garland runs across most of the Frontierland shops and restaurants.
Reindeer figures and sprigs of holly are in this piece of decoration.
Disney California Adventure
Over at Disney California Adventure, Cast Members are getting ready for the Festival of Holidays.
A Festival of Holidays light-up sign is above the park’s entrance.
Inside, a giant Christmas tree greets guests.
The tree is wrapped in silver garland.
Its base looks like a stack of presents.
It’s covered in retro ornaments, candy canes, bells, and snowflakes.
There were still some jack-o’-lanterns hiding nearby, however. Spies of Jack Skellington perhaps as he scouts for Sandy Claws? Or maybe they just haven’t been removed yet.
Some of the lampposts have been decorated with garland and red ribbons.
The cars of Radiator Springs are also decorating for the season. Garland, tire wreaths, and wrench snowflakes hang across the main walkway of Cars Land.
Guido is still dressed up for Haul-O-Ween.
A large wreath and more garland hang on the town hall.
The giant bear statues of Grizzly Peak Airfield have prepared for the winter weather with their own Christmas sweaters.
The first two bears have similar sweaters, featuring a pattern of snowflakes, holly, candy canes, and Mickey ear ornaments.
They’re also wearing light-up necklaces.
The bear at the entrance of Grizzly River Run has traded his life jacket for a red sweater reading “Ho ho ho” above white trees, jumping deer, and snowflakes. He’s also wearing a red plaid trapper hat.
