NEW Non-Stop Flights Now Available to the Orlando Airport

If you’ve ever flown to Disney World, you’ve probably come through the Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Orlando International Airport

Orlando Airport can be a BUSY place and when traveling isn’t always sunshine and rainbows, many of us try to find direct flights to avoid further airport headaches. Spirit Airlines already offers several nonstop, direct flights to MCO from a variety of locations in the United States, and now they’ve added another city!

Beginning on November 17th, 2022, you can now book direct flights to Orlando International Airport from San Antonio, Texas! This can be a huge way to save time while traveling.

You may have heard Spirit Airlines in the news lately due to their merger with JetBlue, and they also recently announced changes coming soon to their seating, including wider widths and increased cushions, which will also feature plenty of knee space and new headrests.

But as much as a direct flight can help save you time, remember that since Disney discontinued their Magical Express service, you are now responsible for transportation from the Orlando International Airport to your Disney World hotel. Make sure you review all your options (Mears Connect, Sunshine Flyer, rideshare services, taxis, etc.) well before your trip, as some of these methods require advance reservations!
