Good morning from a very merry Magic Kingdom! Now we just wish the weather matched that of the park. We have a long list of holiday cheer to get through so let’s get started!
A now holly-jolly Mickey and Minnie Mouse have been adorned with many gifts and Santa hats. The 50th anniversary cake topiary used to sit where the presents are now.
The train station was strung up with festive and bright garland and lights, just some of the beautiful holiday decorations that are around the park today. We can’t wait for the Walt Disney World Railroad to return!
Gold shimmering wreaths are hung up along the posts to the entrance archways and around the hub inside the park.
Another merry surprise, new holiday merchandise has hit the shelves inside the Emporium!
A few new pairs of ears arrived, including this sparkling pair from Baublebar. The cream-colored satin ears have a small pearl and gold holly in the center with a glittering red bow.
This Disney parks pair is super fun because the snow in Mickey & Minnie’s snowglobe actually moves around!
More merchandise and apparel decks the halls in the center “Seasonal” room of the shop. This isn’t all of the collection so we expect more of it to arrive throughout the month.
Coffee lovers will be especially fond of this holiday item — a red and green gradient studded Starbucks tumbler is just behind the registers and on some shelves with the new holiday Munchlings.
Mickey Mouse sweaters and Spirit Jerseys have fun colors and patterns on them perfect for anyone celebrating the season. We especially love the little snowmen on the lined patterned one.
This wall of “Joy” merchandise reminds us of cozy winter days with sherpa and flannel fabrics and simple designs.
A Hanukkah collection was included in this year’s drop! A shirt, plush and glass in shades of blue and gold are available.
Holiday decor has also arrived on the exterior of the shops along Main Street, U.S.A. While we are still missing the big tree near the entrance, garland and wreaths are placed on some facades and lampposts along the way.
One of our favorite holiday decorations is Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, the large wreath around the sign is so fun and festive!
More of the gold pineapple holiday wreaths can be seen in the hub. Pineapples and other fruits are on these decorations along with some tinsel and ornaments.
After some holiday shopping in the hub, it was time to head to Storybook Circus for the Mr. Toad Popcorn Bucket souvenir release. The bucket is $30 and comes with his own colorful popcorn much like the Figment popcorn bucket.
Once our time arrived, we checked in through the app and went inside Pete’s Silly Sideshow to get our popcorn bucket.
Success! “Toady” was very cute and ready to roll! His car’s wheels even worked so you could pull him behind you.
We stopped by the castle on our way around the rest of the park to see some festive garland on the stage as well!
Time to go see what’s happening at TRON! There’s a lot happening down below. It appears as though more protective film is being installed along the walls below along the pathway.
We got a nice surprise when we hopped off of the PeopleMover, the interstellar pair Chip & Dale were hanging out in front of Space Mountain in their Tomorrowland best!
Star Traders has a new highlighter yellow bedazzled Color Me Courtney Princess Tiana varisty-style hoodie is on the racks for $69.99.
An elegant youth sherpa zip-up princess jacket is at Sir Mickey’s for $59.99 and a shiny new pair of rose gold shoes is $34.99.
Ariel, Belle, Tinkerbell, and Sleeping Beauty costumes arrived just shy of Halloween. These new costumes feature bright gems and fun colors and textures. Each costume is $59.99.
There’s a simple but very cute Moana dress for youths. The wavy textures and flowy fabrics remind us of the waves! This dress is part of the Disney Parks Princess Collection and is $59.99.
Plenty of Disney Ping Ornaments arrived at Frontier Trading Post in Frontierland. These ornaments contain 1 mystery item along with the mystery pin, but you have to open them to find out! We saw pins for Timothy Mouse, the White Rabbit, Lumiere and Cosgworth, Elephant Abu, Kronk, and Peter Pan. The ornaments are $24.99 each.
Pixar holiday mystery pin boxes are also out for $24.99. You can get mr. Frederickson, Heimlich, Jessie, and even Remy to name a few.
Lady, Mickey & Pluto, and the Prep and Landing elves are on these Limited Edition holiday pins for $19.99 each.
Before heading out, we stopped back at the Emporium and found this very cute colorblock Pluto crewneck. Run, Pluto, run! This crewneck was $52.99.
We then took a walk over to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to check on the status of their annual gingerbread house. It appears the base level woodwork of the house has been completed and it just awaits some tasty gingerbread!
Sandy Cove on the lower level also has a few of the annual holiday pins the resorts put out. “Happy Holidays” is on the tree pin featuring Beast and Gaston. These are limited edition of 2,500 and are $19.99 each.
The back of the swiveling pin has an ornament with Gaston’s outfit.
The annual holiday gingerbread resort pin has Belle and Beast with a gold snowflake with the resort’s name. These are also $19.99 and limited edition of 5,000.
We found the same pins at Disney’s Beach Club, Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, and Disney’s Yacht Club. The Yacht and Beach Club Gingerbread pin is $19.99 and limited edition of 2,500.
Disney’s Beach Club holiday resort pin has Ursula and Ariel with the mermaid’s hair and Ursula purple on the swiveling side. The pin is $19.99 and limited edition of 2,000.
While we were at Beach Club, we stopped in the lobby to see the holiday treat stand that is erected for the season and the annual gingerbread carousel.
The chefs that worked on the carousel are listed!
Jasmine’s horse is off to the side, and has Carpet and Genie’s lamp sitting on her bejeweled saddle. Is that the palace in Agrabah I see?
The treat stand sells the shingles just like on the carousel if you wanted to take home a piece of the holiday magic.
More treats including peppermint bark, cookies, and krispies are also available for purchase at the stand.
Disney’s Boardwalk Inn also has a gingerbread pin this year, featuring Mickey Mouse with a rocking chair toy and what appears to be a gingerbread house behind him.
The resort logo is on the small snowflake star on the bottom. The pin is $19.99 and limited edition of 2,500.
The resort’s holiday pin has Cinderella’s carriage on one side and Cinderella and her stepmother on the other. This pin is also $19.99 and limited edition of 2,000.
Phew! We did a lot of walking today for some fun holiday finds! We’re heading back to Disney’s Beach Club to grab some gingerbread and head on out. Thanks for following along today!
