Good morning from Magic Kingdom! We have a fun day planned at Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and we’re planning on trying as many holiday treats we can today. We’ll also be on the lookout for any new merchandise, so let’s get started.
Tonight is the first night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
We love when the Annual Passholder entrance is available when we arrive at Magic Kingdom.
As soon as we entered Magic Kingdom, we were greeted by Mickey and friends.
A display of the new Disney nuiMOs 12 day advent calendar is now in the Emporium in Magic Kingdom. Guests can now see what items are available inside the advent calendar.
You can now deliver holiday cheer with this new milk and cookie set for Santa. This set includes a milk glass with straw and cookie plate with holiday-themed artwork of Mickey and friends.
A Mickey Mouse icon holiday dessert glass has arrived in the Emporium. This glass is circled with a string of Christmas colored lights. There are also holiday bows and sprigs of holly with little red Mickey icons featured on the glass.
A cozy new pair of Mickey and friends Crocs have arrived just in time for the holiday season. These Crocs have raised molded vinyls of Mickey and Donald on each side. Pluto and Chip ‘n Dale are also featured.
For some festive cheer there is now a Mickey Mouse light-up singing snow wand in the Emporium. Using technology called Talk Tech, Mickey’s animated face glows as he sings. And of course this wand shoots snowy bubbles out of the top.
New pins have arrived in Frontier Trading Post. The first is a Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World map 50th Anniversary Vault Collection limited release pin.
A new Figment pin featuring Journey Into Imagination and Spaceship Earth. This limited edition pin of 2,000 was designed by Maria Stuckey.
Pixar Holiday nutcracker pins are now available in Walt Disney World. These pins were previously available in Disneyland. This pin set features Dug, Sulley, Miguel, Buzz Lightyear and Nemo. You can also purchase Dug, Sulley, Miguel and Buzz Lightyear separately and are limited edition of 4,500. Nemo is the chaser pin if you buy the set. The set is limited edition of 1,500.
Simba is the 14th release in the Floating Down Main Street, U.S.A. hot air balloon pin collection. This pin is limited edition of 4,000.
A Cinderella Castle Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Annual Passholder pin is now available. This pin is limited edition of 3,000.
A new limited release “Alice in Wonderland” pin is now available. This pin features Alice and Dinah from “Alice in Wonderland” and reads “Kindness is a Gift 2022.”
Now it’s time to try the new holiday treats at Magic Kingdom! The first snack we tried is the Holiday dinner dog at Casey’s Corner.
Next we had the Christmas cookie churro which is available at the Main Street churro cart in Magic Kingdom.
We tried the Christmas wreath doughnut at the snack cart in the hub in Magic Kingdom.
Make sure you bring your appetite for this next snack. The Lock, Shock and Barrel sundae is available at Auntie Gravity’s. We loved this snack but its definitely best to share this because its pretty big.
Next we tried the Texas-sized sweet potato pie available at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe. This dessert was a big hit but was not quite the size of Texas as suggested in the name.
At Golden Oak Outpost we tried two new holiday snacks. The first is the Christmas style fried pork tamale. This snack was a winner!
We also tried the chai caramel freeze.
We decided to take a break from trying the holiday treats because a new 50th treat is now available at Aloha Isle Refreshments — The Pierre Mon Ami float. This Dole Whip float features blueberry and vanilla swirled soft serve over pineapple juice and garnished with a red feather. We loved this new blueberry flavor and can’t wait to get it again!
At last, we hopped over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to try the rest of the holiday snacks. First we stopped at The Trolley Car Cafe for two snacks. The first is a Mickey gingerbread cookie.
We also tried the red velvet whoopie pie.
We stopped in at The Hollywood Brown Derby lounge to try the winter signature dessert.
Next we stopped by ABC Commissary to try some more treats. First we tried the frozen salted caramel hot cocoa.
We enjoyed the Minnie Mouse bundt cake and reindeer mousse.
And finally we tried the frozen salted caramel hot cocoa with cherry bourbon. Suprisingly we enjoyed the non-alcoholic version better.
We found this festive Mickey Mouse brownie at an outdoor stand in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Woody’s Lunchbox now has a hot chocolate lunch box tart available.
Our final snack of the day was the Santa Mickey Mouse cupcake available at Rosie’s All-American Café.
Thanks for following along with our day!
