What’s Christmastime without Santa Claus? Dear old Saint Nick has taken some time out of his very busy schedule to visit with guests during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Check out our video below, or read on to learn more about meeting one of the icons of the season.
This year, Santa’s found a new home away from home at EPCOT, inside the Odyssey Pavilion located between Test Track and the Mexico Pavilion. Last year, he could be found outside at The American Adventure.
Santa gets his own little corner in the dining area of the pavilion.
His greeting spot features his sleigh loaded with presents in a snowy forest background, complete with some faux trees.
The tables also have special holiday decals.
Overhead lights even shine snowflake patterns down on guests and the floor!
With physical distancing no longer required for meet-and-greets, guests can once again sit on his lap and tell Santa what they want for Christmas, exchange some season’s greetings, or even take that perfect holiday photo.
Santa’s always been a jolly old goof, and his greeting is tons of fun for all ages. When we visited, he even taught us how to speak reindeer! You can have a look in the YouTube Short below.
Santa Claus appears in one hour-long increments at 11:00 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:30 PM, 5:00 PM, and 6:30 PM. But be sure to get there soon, because he’ll only be at the park until December 24. (You know, so he can get back to the North Pole and get ready for his annual “business trip.”)
While inside the Odyssey Pavilion, be sure to satisfy your sweet tooth with cookies, cakes, and more at Holiday Hearth Desserts!
