Golden Oak Outpost at Magic Kingdom is kicking off the holiday season with Christmas style fried pork tamales and a chai caramel freeze.

Christmas Style Fried Pork Tamale – $9.99

This fried pork tamale is one of the newest Christmas treats to debut at Magic Kingdom. It’s served “Christmas Style” with red and green chile sauces and queso fresco.

We were quite surprised at how tasty this tamale was! The pork was perfectly spiced and the green chile sauce was flavorful and vibrant. The sauces were the perfect accompaniment to the meat. The queso fresco was light and fresh and just the right amount atop the tamale. The Fried Pork Tamale was winner in our book!

Chai Caramel Freeze – $7.99

It may be the Christmas season, but in Florida you still might want a refreshing, cool treat! The Chai Caramel Freeze delivers just that.

The Chai Caramel Freeze has just the right balance of flavors. The caramel and chai complimented each other well.

The drink was topped with a chai spiced whipped cream. Inserted in the cloud of whipped cream was a chocolate, with reindeer antlers, tiny holly leaves and Mickey shaped holly berries.

The Chai Caramel Freeze at Golden Oak Outpost at Magic Kingdom was a winner for us. However, it was very sweet and quite thick and heavy. We feel it was a lot for one person to finish, so we think this treat is a shareable one! If you are a Chai fan or a frozen drink fan, this is a fabulous treat to try when at Magic Kingdom. 

Both items are available during regular park hours and during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party from November 8 through December 31.
